Richer Sounds exclusive model.

Now in its third incarnation, the Cambridge Audio Minx MIN22 is better than ever.

The Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) effect

Using a single BMR drive unit and an additional woofer, the MIN 22 speakers give pinpoint accuracy and burst with detail right up to high volume levels. BMR technology combines the advantages of both flat panel and conventional speakers, so unlike some small speakers, they won't turn harsh or brittle when the sound gets intense. With a dedicated woofer unit built-in, the MIN22 offers even greater dynamics and scale of sound over the smaller MIN12 model.

Latest V4 drivers
Already well established as one of the most popular small speakers around, the Minx MIN22 has a revised BMR drive unit. Now in its fourth generation, the new unit uses a larger magnet for improved efficiency, while driver excursion has increased from 2.2mm to 4mm, giving enhanced lower-midrange for improved integration with a subwoofer. Finally, the BMR unit moves in a more uniform manner, giving a more accurate sound across all frequencies.

Incredibly versatile
Neat and compact, the MIN22 is incredibly discreet and easy to place. Yet, with a wide range of mounting options, it's also one of the most flexible speakers. Take your choice from optional matching wall brackets, desktop stands or height-adjustable floorstands - there's a solution for every mounting requirement.

Luxury finish
With smooth, curvaceous lines, the Minx MIN22 speakers look every bit as good as they sound. With a choice quality black or white scratch-resistant finishes, it's easy to match them in with your decor or AV system, too.

Ideal for home cinema, discreet hi-fi or desktop audio, the Cambridge Audio Minx MIN22 speakers offer quality sound, style and flexibility like little else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing clear sound. So pleased. I bought a min22 centre speaker, 4x min12 satelites and an x301 sub. I upgraded from an old mission FS2 (nxt flat panel system). This new setup is more discrete and sounds absolutely stunning. Highly recommended. The products aside the customer service from Richer was 11/10 i couldn't imagine a better customer experience. The advise, delivery and the exchange from an x201 sub which was a little to small for the x301 was next day at 8am...as I say absolutely top notch and I have told anyone who will listen my pleasant experience! Love you richer sounds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Compromise I originally bought the MIN12 speakers as rears but they weren't able to compete with my front 3. I've kept the 12's for additional atmos speakers and now have the MIN22's as rears. They bring a perfect balance, sound great and are the best compromise for space issues in a room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound for size I bought one month ago to use with Brennan B2. Mounted in kitchen using speaker brackets, one on wall one on ceiling. Non instructive

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can have great sound with style I bought these a couple of weeks ago to 'downsize' and 'upstyle' my HiFi living room setup. the old Mission 77's on stands needed to make way for something less obtrusive to fit with a cleaner, lighter, more modern decor, but I didn't want to sacrifice quality. I knew the Minx's were good for the Home Cinema soundstage, so I had a punt. The clarity and mid to high tonal range is suprisingly good for such diminuitive speakers, and you can crank them right up if needed. In this respect, they are more than a match for my old 77's. However, I have to admit that I do miss the low frequency 'presence' that the 77's provided (which seems to be a theme with some other reviewers here), so a sub is in the offing. How fortunate that there's a suitable Minx sub that will fit the bill perfectly.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tiny solid speaker Orignally bought one as a tiny bookshelf centre speaker - then realized that it was better than the other speakers I was using it will and so ended up buying a second and not using the orginal speakers. Loverly clear sound , great for hiding in a room /using for television.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb speakers!!! These speakers aren't just great for small speakers, they're great speakers full stop! Music or movies - both are sounding fantastic. I've got mine paired with a BK Electronics XLS200 sub & the integration is seamless. Clarity is excellent & the sound dispersion is superb. Obviously their size makes them very versatile for placement anyway, but the way the sound fills the room is nothing short of astonishing. You will need to pair with a sub though, the frequency bottoms out at 120hz which leaves them a little light on bass. I've set the cross over to 150hz on my receiver & I'm very. very happy with the performance & sound the system is putting out. Great speakers that I've got no hesitation in recommending.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic speakers for their size Bought a pair of Minx MIN22 for my lounge. They are perfect, so discreet you could easily miss them and yet the sound is just as good and perhaps better than the huge Wharfedale speakers I had before. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound from little speakers I bought these speakers to replace my minx 12s for a bit more oomph in my Atmos system and I am not disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful and Tiny We're using a pair of them as ceiling mounted speakers in a bedroom in combination with a small sub. Great sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound from very small speakers I wanted white to go with the decor and small to keep my wife happy and I’m happy because they sound great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big sound from such a small speaker. Small ,neat and and big sound from such a small speaker. For the price wall bracket should be included as they are £14 a pair without wall fixings or screws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and powerful I bought these as rear speakers for 7.1 surround setup, where there was limited room in to mount them on the wall. The sound is pinpoint clear and they provide excellent surround highlights. For the price, and the size they are well worth the money (so much so that I would consider replacing my side speakers with them too). They are small though - so if you're looking for really punchy bass, you're going to need to either rely on a sub, or use them in conjunction with bigger speakers. I wouldn't recommend them as main speakers for film or music, as they don't have the weight of sound to give you satisfying results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking speakers that deliver great sound Used 7 of these for my upgraded 7.1 surround sound system. Wanted to keep the look low key and stylish in a living room and really happy with these speakers. Great combination of small size but powerful sound and classy looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speakers Bought two Minx Min22 to replace Min12's, the 12's were good but the Min22's are much better, great sound, look great on the adjustable wall brackets. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound. Fixings could be better for ceiling. Great sounding speakers. They were recommended as Atmos speakers as cutting into the ceiling was not an option. However it’s very difficult to get them completely flush due to the type of fitting supplied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing speakers I love the speakers! They are especially good at listening to David Bowie and The Beatles on them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Detailed sound, quality finish. Used as surround speakers in a 5.1 system. Had to go for these as space was limited, they’re quite discreet. Obviously they’re limited when it comes to bass, but then they’re not really designed for that. Overall really happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a ‘mini’ HT system I use these in my study (a converted garage) in a 7.0 system when I want to watch something after everyone’s gone to bed. They work really well - I get the soundstage and precision I want without the need for volume and bass. For small speakers they provide surprising clarity and depth of sound. Brackets make them easy to set up too. Overall they’re perfect for what I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but very accomplished I have only had these speakers a week or two, they are well made and the finish is high class. The important bit, the sound is fantastic for a speaker this size. I was under orders from SWMBO that size in this case!! was to be of the lower order. They look and sound great in our recently extended kitchen dinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great soundstage Utilised in a 5.1 living room setup I expected it to be a big step down from my floorstanders in my music room. I've found it to be quite the opposite! While not as detailed as my much larger and more expensive stereo setup it provides a great room filling sound that it has no right doing at its diminutive size. You'll need a sub however, either get a Cambridge one or find one that crosses over at 150hz at least.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cambbridge Audio equipment It was a pleasure to do business with Richer Sounds. I am making a start to install the equipment I purchased from you next week and will be getting back to you again when it is operational - B Adams

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good and bad, but mainly good! The speakers sound great, a big sound from a small unit. If your placing them on a back wall with the speakers facing out then the brackets will do the job. My big gripe is for me that is not possible and I've had to have brackets custom made so they can positioned and angled for my requirements. I nearly looked for a different speaker because of this and think Cambridge Audio would be wise to make a bracket capable of signicantly improved angling. They do sound great though!
