Great product and price
I purchased the product for my Dad and amazingly he can work it easily. it has a great sound and tone. It does the task it was purchased for very well even their friends liked it.

very good sound
I bought this item as a present for Christmas . Very good sound but the handbook and set up procedure was a real University Challenge. Still struggling to load all the presets! The same item given different names in the manual doesn't help.

Good features for a small device
Bought to use as a clock radio.
Sound is clear and can be adjusted for treble and bass using the EQ settings. It won't fill a room with sound without losing it at top volume but in a bedroom and as an alarm the volume will be more than loud enough. This is primarily a middle range clock radio or kitchen background radio with the benefit of some nice, useful extra features such as the included rechargeable battery that would make it ideal as an occasional outdoor device.
Set up is intuitive and easy to navigate through the colour display,
DAB reception is okay but not exceptional, to put this in perspective it is as good as the Pure it replaces but not as good as the Ruark I also have. You do get what you pay for!
FM is okay too and has a useful feature where it can scan for strong signals or all signals.
Bluetooth is genuinely useful and an easy to set up feature and a real bonus at this price point.
Build quality is reasonable but not top end, the unit looks attractive and has a good weight to it, helped by the composite wood body and battery. The only gripe is the volume control which doubles as a navigation button and would be so much easier to use if it stood proud rather than being flush.
I know I should not compare this to Ruark R1, but anyone looking at this will recognise the obvious visual similarity and control arrangement and wonder if this is as good. The bottom line is no, but it is less than half the price and the Ruark would be a waste in a bedroom used as an alarm clock. This is therefore a much better choice for the money.
Pros: fully featured DAB device
Cons: slightly awkward volume control

nice kit, rubbish instructions
I bought this yesterday, mainly for its "portability". Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing in the instructions about how you use the rechargeable battery. I was just about to return to Richer Sounds, thinking that it was faulty, when I found a very small switch, hidden behind the battery pack under the battery cover. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has been bamboozled.

Beautiful little radio
After a series of disappointments with Pure and View Quest, the Steljes SA20 is pure joy. Very easy to operate - sets itself up! - clear readable screens and simple controls which are crisp and clean. Good quality sound, well separated especially for classical music, and satisfactory volume for the size. It has Plus it has its own built-in rechargeable battery - DAB is energy-hungry, and most others get through a lot of AA batteries if you use your radio round the house. Both Pure and View Quest have rechargeable batteries, but you have to buy them separately and they're not stocked by Richer Sounds. And - glory be! - a real user's manual included. It's own guarantee is only a year, but Richer Sounds were happy to offer a 6-year SuperCare guarantee (not available on all DAB radios, I was told). At the current price (£79) this is a steal.
