For many years Audioquest has advocated solid-core rather than multi-strand cables. Electrical and magnetic interaction between strands in conventional cables can cause distortion, giving an unnatural edge to the sound and picture. Foamed polyethylene insulation

Superb performance and great value for money
Just recently bought and is one of the best HDMI cables I have ever used providing sharp detailed images with superb colour rendition along with very little digital noise or motion blur,sound quality is just as equally impressive and very precise and clear,really like audioquest products and would recommend this without hesitation,fantastic value for money when considering the performance value per cost ratio,really is such a quality product.

Excellent service from Richer Sounds
Received as replacement for a faulty QED Performance Premium Slim HMI cable, since that cable was no longer in stock. It took nearly six months to finally identify that cable as causing sound dropouts in a TV + Soundbar package. This cable is much superior in that the plugs fit noticeably better. Of significant note is the Nottingham branch who sent this replacement cable without quible as soon as telephoned them. I can fully recommend these cables, but Richer Sounds service deserves 10 stars.

Exactly what I needed
What can you say about an HDMI lead? Well, they are hard to get hold of during a pandemic and there are infinite variations. Without Richer Sounds I might well have gone to a non specialist on-line retailer and wasted my money. No complaints about picture quality. It’s well made over priced as I know if you paid £7 or £400 the results would be the same. If you pay more and you think your picture has improved its probably the placebo effect.

A must buy for anyone with 4K capability
I have bought about 4 or 5 of these over the past few years since I took the plunge and upgrade to 4K, this is the lead that was recommended to me by the staff in-store and it hasn’t failed me yet, I personally got this for it’s Dolby Atmos & Dolby Vision capabilities.

Excellent quality cable upgrade.
Purchased the Audio Quest HDMI cable to replace my much older connection between my new Freesat box and my Denon AV Reciever. I was having problems with sound and picture dropout after purchasing the new type Freesat box. After much research, I bought this cable from the excellent Richer Sounds and it immediately cured all the problems being a much faster cable and of really high quality. Problem solved
I had a problem where I was regularly momentarily losing the signal from my Sky Q box to Sony Bravia tv.This was especially bad when turning other appliances on around my flat.
Have been using this HDMI cable a couple of weeks now and has not happened once.
Would highly recommend if you’re experiencing the same problem.

Bought new Samsung television, new Panasonic DVD player and these.
What can I say about them, they were rather more expensive than others I have seen but they came highly recommended by salesman so I went with his superior knowledge. They do what it says on the tin so all good.

An unbelievable improvement!
I always thought that a digital audio lead would provide a faithful top quality sound so I used one for my soundbar. The sound was much better than Bluetooth or WiFi. The advisor in Richer Sounds advised me that da actually compresses signals and only a quality hdmi lead like the Audioquest Pearl would deliver a far fuller signal / sound. I therefore tried it and WOW!! Quite literally I was blown away. The improvement in sound quality was unbelievable and far above the relatively small cost of the lead. I am now having to listen to and watch everything again!! Once again, the staff at RS have provided superb advice which has greatly enriched my listening experience. Thank you.

Bought this with my sound bar worked great for a couple of day then the sound started to keep cutting off. Swap it for another hdmi cable and works fine. So I will take this one back as I no I will have no issues with Richer Sounds with getting an exchange.
