For many years Audioquest has advocated solid-core rather than multi-strand cables. Electrical and magnetic interaction between strands in conventional cables can cause distortion, giving an unnatural edge to the sound and picture. Using Long-Grain Copper, the Audioquest Pearl gives a cleaner, clearer sound than regular cables using OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper, thanks to fewer impurities.
Air-filled foamed-polyethylene insulation
Wire insulation can cause an imperfect signal by absorbing energy and then releasing it as distortion. What an amazing difference!
I used 4K leads that I bought last year, but when I told Stephen at Richer Sounds Glasgow that the picture quality on my 4K tv was nothing in comparison to what I see in the store, stephen told me about these cables. I took the plunge and.... jeez. I’m glad I did!! Colours, sharpness and overall viewing is simply night and day! If you’ve got a good tv.... then you just HAVE to use quality cable like this!

What a difference!
Complained to staff re extremely poor vision with UHD through Sky. Was given good advise as my previous hdmi lead was not good enough for the job. After replacing with this lead I have now a fantastic picture with UHD, I never thought it would make this much difference.

Bought to connect avr with blu-ray UHD 4k DVD player and UHD 4k TV. Getting great sound and pictures. Think it's advisable to use good quality products so that you don't spoil the setup with poor connections. You can go a lot further than we have in this, but we've got a good system with the pearl HDMI's

hopefully worth the price
This was amongst around £1750 worth of TV,wall bracket , DVD player and AV amp I purchased a week before Christmas . I've used Richer sounds before as I value the advice. Generally pleased with purchase although it was a shame that I wasn't offered a voucher or ideally discount as (sickeningly) the boxing day sales had the wall mount at half the price I paid. Salesman must have known that was going to be the case.

High Quality HDMI Leads
I have purchased several HDMI cables before which have been very cheap however some have failed and as I was spending a lot on the TV, I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to be doing myself an injustice with poor quality cables. I am not disappointed - these cables are sturdy yet flexible and contribute to the outstanding picture my 65 inch B6 OLED TV produces! Worth the money.

Award winning HDMI cable with great flexibility
I purchased 3 Audioquest Pearl 3M HDMI cables for my recently purchased LG49UB850V smart tv as the 3 QED Graphite 3M HDMI cables I initially got were far too thick and heavy for the side ports as they were unable to stay in position. The Audioquest Pearl is slimmer, lighter and much more flexible thus suiting my needs. On top of which this superb HDMI cable, even if it is at the budget end of it's siblings, did of course win the What Hi-Fi Product of the Year award in 2011 and 2012 so I am more than happy that this is the right cable I chose for the 4K tv I purchased. The only other observation I would like to make is that it would have been nice if Audioquest had supplied a couple of velcro cable ties per cable as per the QED Graphite cable.
