”A streaming solution to be reckoned with.” ‘What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision magazine’. 5-star review. Tested at £500.

Make your Mojo amazing

With the Chord Poly you can turn your award-winning Mojo into a portable wireless streaming system. Simply 'click' on and enjoy wire-free connectivity via Bluetooth, AirPlay and Wi-Fi. Poly will also support Hi-Res music file playback. An SD card input lets you playback stored music. With its built-in battery, up to nine hours of playback time on the move is possible.

Wireless connect
The Mojo is a superb-sounding headphone DAC, but it always required a physical connection with your source device. Click on a Poly and that physical connection is a thing of the past. Poly lets you stream via Bluetooth, AirPlay or Wi-Fi. It's also compatible with the DLNA standard, meaning you can easily stream music from your PC, laptop of NAS drive.

Smartphone control
Controlled via apps on iOS or Android smartphones, operating Poly is always easy. With no physical controls, it can remain in your bag while you control the music and volume via your smartphone or tablet.

Hi-Res compatible
With more and more Hi-Res music now available, it's good to know that Poly can cope. Compatible with PCM files up to 768kHz and DSD512, Poly has the potential to offer true studio quality sound.

SD card slot
If you'd rather play music from an SD card, then Poly is happy to oblige. The high quality Micro SD card reader frees up the storage space on your phone or tablet, letting you store hundreds of tracks on a tiny SD card.

Nine hour battery life
With a battery life that lasts up to nine hours, Poly will cover the longest of journeys. Charge up via USB and both Mojo and Poly's batteries will be charged. Using the device's fast-charging circuit, a full recharge is possible in less than four hours.

Multi-room potential
Poly integrates with advanced music players such as Roon (excluding SD access), meaning that you can setup Mojo/Poly combinations around your home and control them all via your smartphone or tablet. Connect with your choice of Hi-Fi system or active speakers in each room for perfectly tailored sound.

Get more from your Mojo, with the feature-packed Poly onboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great kit and great service Richer Sounds price matched the Chord Poly, which is a great addition to the Mojo. It has great features although some of them are not that easy to work out. But help from Chord sorted them out quickly enough. The Poly was quickly delivered to my local Richer Sounds for pick up. Great product and great service all round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In love with the poly chord! So pleased with this purchase. It’s made my husband very happy. Mind you I have become a poly chord widow as a result! Excellent service from Richer Sounds throughout. Ben was fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound quality improvement for Mojo I've owned Poly for almost 3 months now (Mojo for 1.5y). It improves on the quality of sound of Mojo over the optical connection, not mentioning the noisy usb. In hotspot mode it sounds better to me than when using with my home wifi. Listening from built in sd card reader gives the best sound quality results. Sound is cleaner, super detailed and 3 dimensional ( I use Bowers and Wilkins P7). It's definitely not the easiest to use, but then you would buy it for HOW IT SOUNDS, not how easy it was to use (it's not). Sound qualitywise it beats everything in its price range

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No I bought a mojo and I was very happy. Beautiful, very great game. I bought my mojo with only problems. Game very nicely with my mojo but always only a few minutes and loses connection with my wifi network. I thought it was my router. I exchanged for a new one but it did not help ..I also have a google chrome that connected to my game for hours and I'm okay when I connect poly it will only play a few minutes and less cz.Nic not only help off and then on. Then it takes a few minutes. I have tried different applications on the android and always the same 2 or 3 minutes and the end .my poly is a big failure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sound, but difficult and confusing to set up Having owned the exceedingly good Chord Mojo for almost a couple of years now (and what a revelation that was) I was keen to try out the Poly. I had been streaming from my desktop PC via JRiver MC to a laptop then to my Hifi, which which, although worked very well, tied up the laptop. I liked the idea of having the Poly not only to free up the laptop but enable me to listen to hi-res sound on my headphones wherever I choose, be that in the bedroom, lounge or sat on a deckchair in the garden, and in this respect the Poly did not disappoint. The sound quality is excellent and class leading, but I'm sure you already know that if you're reading this review. It's not all perfect though, despite the superb sound. I was well aware of the the difficult set up problems people had experienced from previous reviews, but now Chord had released the GoFigure App all that had supposedly disappeared right? Wrong! It's still very confusing and for such an expensive item as the Chord Poly undoubtedly is, the manual Chord provide is pretty shoddy, far too brief, and the FAQ on the website really not good enough. A real thorough step-by-step guide is desperately needed for the Poly. It took me several attempts to get my Poly to recognize my DNLA network; GoFigure still warns me that I need the latest firmware even though it is installed, and every time I switch on the Mojo I find I have to go through the GoFigure procedure all over again. What's more it seems to take quite a long while before JRiver can find the Poly and I can stream to my headphones. Another faux pas is that there is no dedicated Chord app for playing your music .. doh! Chord 'seem' to recommend yo use Glider which is OKish but nowhere near as functional and informative as the JRemote App, and it will you cost another 10 quid. I also purchased a 200GB Sandisk MicroSD card on which to put some of my favourite Hi-res FLAC files upon, assuming the Launch QuickPlay button in the GoFigure would allow me to play these, but it won't stating it can't find any MPD playlists. I have no idea what a MPD playlist is or how to create one, and can't find anything in the Poly and GoFigure documentation explaining this. I also found it won't play or recognise DSD files on the microSD card which was really disappointing (why?). I can stream them, but can't play them from a direct source .. this seems rather odd. Another quirk, is that if you add or change the music files on the microSD card, you have to get the GoFigure App to re-scan the card. It took me ages to find this out. Why it can't recheck the card at startup is beyond me. Despite these quirks when I got it playing from the microSD card the quality of the sound, as ever, was excellent. One other disappointing fact is the Poly colour and finish doesn't match my Mojo, they're not even close and it's very noticeable. I guess this is due to different manufacturing, but disappointing to say the least and makes the Poly look like an afterthought, which undoubtedly it was. Despite these foibles I still like the 'Mojopoly' and would recommend it but only if you have a reasonable understanding of DNLA streaming and are prepared for some serious fiddling about. Definitely not a device for beginners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Portable Streamer Bought the Poly to add the streaming/storage capability to my Mojo. As with the Mojo, the poly is a well thought out, technically advanced and well built high end audio product at a reasonable price. Chord just keep on delivering!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mojo+Poly+GoFigure=DAP I am using Mojo+Poly with GoFigure app and Glider app. Before Chord finished GoFigure it was Poly was no user-friendly, but now everything is OK. For online creating playlists on Poly there is very useful free app Cantata for Mac or free Kid3 app fior creating playlists on SD card through external SD card reader. As MPD client for IOS I strongly recommend Glider. Hope Chord will update GoFigure with new functions because now it is possible play only playlists created externally on SD card. Yes it is expensive but I think Mojo+Poly+iPhone is very good DAP and analogs from Astell&Kern, Lotto, Questyle and so on in this class are more expensive. With Poly I can use all Mojo's benefits as super DAC&AMP at home and everywhere. Thanks Chord.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looked, then bought Google Chromecast Audio £30 Given the issues and reviews, I cannot see £450 worth it when the Google Chromecast Audio is £30, Easy to set up, and has widespread adoption like with Spotify and Tidal. Running off a power bank then optical out to Chord Mojo. Sounds really good.
