Offering the perfect balance of speed, agility and weight, the REL T7i is the complete subwoofer.

A high quality design refined

The REL T7i builds on the original by offering an upgraded, lighter woofer cone, giving an even faster response. The cabinet is larger than before, giving greater internal volume for a deeper bass.

Combines active and passive cones for monster bass
Within its cabinet, the REL T7i uses a forward-firing, active 8" bass cone paired with a downward-firing, passive 10" cone. In combination, these cones offer a surface area equivalent to a 13" bass cone. What this means for the sound is deep, effortlessly powerful bass from a cabinet that's not huge.

High current 200 watt amplifier for the ultimate control
Keeping the revised bass cone under tight control is REL's tried and tested 200 watt Class A/B amplifier. Unlike other active subwoofers that use digital amplifiers, REL have stuck to the more traditional Class A/B transistor design. Although more expensive to produce, the upside is class-leading attack and control. Unlike lesser subs, the bass starts and stops exactly when it should with superb agility and no 'overhang' to its response.

Reliable performer
Thanks to a large heatsink on the rear of the sub, the T7i is kept cool, giving many years of reliable performance. Used in over 100,000 units to date, these REL amplifiers have an excellent track record for reliability.

Separate levels pre-set for your hi-fi and home cinema
If you use your subwoofer for both home cinema and hi-fi, the REL T7i is ideal. Traditionally, the problem with using a sub with both home cinema and music systems is the difference in presence required. Whereas films often require the sub to be turned up for the greatest thrills, music demands a more subtle approach. With the REL T7i you have separate level controls for stereo and LFE .1 surround. This means you get the ideal levels for both hi-fi and AV, without the need to constantly change the settings.

High quality finish
With REL's legendary build quality and finish, the T7i has to be one of the most attractive-looking subwoofers in its class. Featuring a deep, piano gloss finish and logoed aluminium feet, this is one subwoofer you'll be proud to have on show.

For a subwoofer that matches might with musicianship and style with substance, the REL T7i is a first-rate performer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product and outstanding service Although it took a bit of time to burn in and integrate with my main system, it now sounds amazing I would say it’s now a critical component of my system

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bit of kit with a beautiful thick bass sound Recently purchased the Rel T7i and i am so pleased with it. It provided brilliant thick clear bass filling the room, and the rest of the house with well balanced sound. I use this sub at home via a cambridge audio cxa81 amp, and combined they produce all the punch and definition i need. The ability to vary the frequency at which the sub comes in at and the stand alone sub volume dial, allows me to vary the sub depending on the type of music i am listening to. When turned up, even to just 70% it fills the house with bass, but still provides definition and tone when the volume is low. I am really pleased with this item and will not need to look any further as this far exceeds my needs, highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The sound and the design I've been after a sub for months. Or better speakers which could reach lower frequencies than the 70Hz my B&W 601 s2 reach. Kept going back to my local Richer Sounds store, should I get new floor standers? Or just a sub? Or a couple of subs? Or floor standers? This loop went on for months. In the end, I felt a good sub was a better long term investment as even decent floor standers can struggle with bass. With months of research under the belt, went for this T7i. My only requirement was musicality, not movie "boooom". This sub really does bring out the best in music. The bass is sharp, really really sharp, dry, you feel the punches in the air, with no lingering resonance. Positioning was a bit of a pain. After a couple of weeks of it living in the corner of the room, decided to place it in the listening position and crawled around the living room floor until I found the best bass location, which didn't turn out so bad next to the sofa. Make sure you 'burn it in' by playing reggae music on LOUD for a couple of hours (as per instructions). I had to arrange a time with my neighbours so as not to bother them. The burn in made a significant difference around the 30Hz mark, which is now far more pronounced and clear. Overall, I think it's a bit of an overkill for my audio setup, the size of my flat, and the volumes I use to listen to music. But it's the very best bass you can get for music. And I can now focus on upgrading all other components over time. The other

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition to 2 channel stereo I bought this REL sub 3 weeks ago, mainly to improve 2 channel stereo but to provide bass weight for occasional cinema use. And what a fabulous addition it is proving to be! I enjoy a wide range of music and the REL has given a subtle, at times considerable, improvement to pretty much everything I have played to date. Once set up to the room and system, it provides extra weight and depth to the lower register but it also interacts with the mid and treble to improve detail and dynamics throughout the spectrum. It is fast and able to 'keep up' with the main speakers to provide seamless integration. Looks good, too, blending in well with the room. I've never used a sub with my stereo before but I wouldn't be without it now. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant all-rounder If after a multi purpose subwoofer for music and movies then the Rel T7i is for you. The Rel is a fast agile sub ideal for music if you use the high level cable which is also supplied, if your only into movies I probably wouldn't buy it and get a cheaper alternative.Update I've since bought another Rel T7i which completes my system , overall a well built sub with a great finish well recommended.. lastly a big shout out to James and Andy at the Prestwich branch for their help and knowledge

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy sub The T7I is a replacement for the T7 l sold on a few years ago....the "volume" knob level should be renamed....Thunder level....honestly l cant turn the volume up past 11 o clock....but it does take 10 minutes to fully warm up,looks are exquisite, the silver white woofer cone looks special as does the whole enclosure, but you've got spend another £100 for a subwoofer interconnect l went for one from The Chord Company well worth it,my only gripe with this Sub was the high gloss finish, which was covered in very fine scratches/swirls the same type you get on badly looked after automotive paint as that's the same paint/laquer REL use on their products, but l managed to polish them out with a machine polisher of which shoul'dnt be the case REL....so better quality control is needed, because this was'nt the case when l bought my REL T7.....Special mention goes out to Kenny from Glasgow...who sold me all my kit over the....phone....Top bloke
