Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sounding headphones These are truly a step up in terms of quality compared to all of my previous earbuds - wide soundstage, open sound, good strong (but not overpowering) bass, clean trebles, and clear, expressive mids. I tried compared to Shure SE425, and there was no competition. The 425s sounded like music playing in a different room (overly pronounced mids, muffled sound, no bass worth speaking of), the T20i's were like being in the recording studio. They really pick up once they are driven a bit, so it pays to bump up the volume level one notch over what you might normally listen to (obviously don't listen too loud or you may suffer hearing loss!). They are tricky to fit and some may find them difficult to wear; once you choose the best fitting tips from the broad selection in the box, I find the best way is to twist into the ear, then hold the earbud with one hand and shape the over ear memory cable with the other. Once you have them in place they are rock solid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great detail I bought these a week ago and am very pleased with the sound. Details is great and will only improve as time goes on. Will be purchasing an Audioquest DAC in the future to use with these - should be amazing

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good for the price I wanted a big screen tv and as always headed upto richer sounds. We tried a few In The demo room and decided I wanted a cheap 75” Cut a long story short this was £2000+ but on offer as ex demo for £1500. I was then informed it’s 10% off today and got it for £1350. So bought some head phones with my savings. Wow the headphones!! Excellent vaule and extremely well made. Sound is fantastic and I can honestly say I’m over the moon with them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely made in-ear headphones, decent sound These are good, solid, well-designed in-ear headphones. They come with a huge array of different tips, as well as alternative filters for more bass or treble if that's your thing. I really love the way they fit right inside your ear - they don't stick out at all (unlike many other designs) and the over-ear cable loop means they don't fall out. I also like the fact the microphone and remote control is up near your ear (rather than on your chest), so it's easy to find the buttons. Calling quality is very good when used with a phone. Sound quality for music is decent rather than spectacular - on a par with other headphones at this price. If you want perfectly smooth treble and super-deep bass then look elsewhere: these are headphones for long-term, daily use, rather than super-critical hi-res listening. They come with a handy carrying case and feel like they'll last a long time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sound but overpriced I've had these for a couple of months alreqdy so I gave them plenty of time to convince me they were worth what I paid. While they do sound good, they did not impress and made me appreciate even more my Sound Magic E80C's which I bought a while ago for little over half the price of the RHA T20i's. The RHA T20i's come in very fancy packaging with accessories like customisable filters you can physically replace in the in-ear housing, and a very soft carry case. But the case is a bit impractical as it it quite big and bulky, not something one would easily fit in a jacket pocket for example. Anyway, it all boils down to sound quality (which can be a subjective matter and for which my old E80C's were my benchmark), and the practicality of having your headphone on the go, as such my conclusion is these did not blow me away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy Best ear headphones on the market, excellent quality and most important sound. Worth every penny! I have a pair of Bose wireless but nothing compares to RHA T20i in my opinion. You will need to figure out the best fit for your ears but you will have a variety of padding to choose from to fit your ears perfectly. I would definitely buy these ear phones again or as a gift for someone who loves music.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from early days but so far so good! After a proper nerdy few weeks of reading reviews I noticed the RHA T20i in-ear headhones were coming in on all the 'top 10' listings. I can see why. They feel quality and sound great. well worth the £139 for value. The big one for me was that these came with a 3 year warranty, (from RHA themselves!), but having spent a few weeks with them can honestly say the build quality is excellent. My previous 3 sets of sony in-ears, (all around the same price margin as these) all ended up with cable breaks around about the 2 year mark. I cant see that happening with these. The interchangeable filters are also an excellent addition to the design and they do actually make a difference. They also come with an excellent range of silicon buds so getting a good fit is easy. I also love the fact that these headphones are made by a small company in Scotland rather than a huge company that also makes fridges. The only reason I am giving them a 4 rather than 5 stars is that I am still getting used to the in-ear 'over ear cable' format but I can see that this will be something that I will easily get used to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality in ear buds Great design and sound although it takes time to get the perfect fit using the silicone tips, good that there are plenty of different size tips as they should cater for the majority. Comfortable to wear for long periods. I have only used the bass filter so cannot comment on the difference in sound frequencies regarding the other supplied filters but a great addition, I look forward to trying the other filters. Clarity of sound is very impressive. Overall these buds are high quality and that is true of the supplied accessories. A few niggles are, cable is a bit too long for me, and can be a bit of a faff if you want to take the buds off briefly and put them back on in the same position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spaced and open I recently purchased these to replace a fairly unheard of in ears brand (Jagen Hippo VB) which I purchased years ago as most in ears failed to satisfy me for bass. Move on about seven years after they break and the search begins originally for Shure SE425 before being introduced to these. I needed to find something that I could use working outside soft landscaping that delivered clarity/bass and could be used for about seven hours full on, so comfort was a priority too but have a good ability to block out machinery noise and also not breaking the bank (I thought that would be a lot harder than it was really). I therefore tested these in Reigate as these were said to deliver the bass that a lot of people say isn't there in the 425s. At first I thought they sounded good and was pleased but not a substantial upgrade from my previous ones. I decided to purchase these and I'm glad I did, they pick out subtle hi-hats and symbols, fingers sliding on strings and other subtle background noises that I had no idea were there and block a great deal of environmental noise. Despite my old ones being transparent to a certain extent they didn't quite deliver this detail and they were a bit bass heavy. My musical taste is extremely varied so I needed to find something that does bass heavy rave music like The Prodigy and drum and bass well but equally the Inbetween relaxing orchestra/soft rock and delicate vocals well as well as the full out raging and yelling stuff known as heavy metal! The RHA T20i do a very good job at all of these and it's impressive! I have the reference attachment on here paired with a Galaxy S7 Edge and the bass is well timed and tight giving an attack but also doesn't drown out the treble/mids leaving everything well spaced. Anne Marie - Peak is a very good song for listening to delicate vocals which these do an awesome job, Dire Straits - Money For Nothing and Trivium - Rain just send shivers down my back in a way my previous headphones just couldn't do. There were a few songs that I felt could be more spaced/be a little bit louder but that is being extremely fussy but on that same token there's plenty of songs that you can pick out background noises that aren't quite to a fine tooth, but nothing that a pretty headphone DAC won't assist with. WARNING: They sound so good and block enough environmental noise that you will find yourself singing (or at least trying) away, don't get caught! Cons: Despite these being awesome headphones I find the cable a little heavy, you could argue I could use the clip but I've always found these a nuisance too. The right ear is the heaviest with the volume adjustment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall very nice piece of kit! First thing that strikes you upon opening these headphones is build quality. Metal parts are well machined. Box contains the headphones themselves, sound filters and a whole bunch of ear plugs. Box also contains a small carry case. Headphones are super comfortable with an over ear cable design and feature a mic/ remote on the right hand side. Sound wise for in ear headphones they sound great. Bass is tight and trebles very defined. With the reference filters they have a nice flat response. The bass filters enhance the lower end but I do find they make the higher end a little muddy when listening to rock tracks. Overall, for in ear headphones these are great for the money, very comfortable and well built. The changeable filters allow you to cover all music genres.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant service, brilliant headphones Best headphones ive ever owned, would wholly recommend, when coupled to chord mojo at ear bleedingly loud levels sound remains clean with good solid bass. Richer sounds customer service second to none too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound, interchangeable filters The perfect punchy bass with the bass filter allows for a great all-round experience. The memory foam tips help with long hours of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old fashioned quality and attention to detail. I’ve had these earphones for just over a month. I’ve had high end Shure earphones that fell to bits, over ear sennheiser‘s that sounded great but only in a library and were too big and clunky for everyday. These RHA‘s were a very good purchase. They need to be ‚run in‘ over a couple of days which I find normal. The sound is excellent. They are sturdy and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features and Fantastic Sound Quality. I brought this a week ago for a gift. Well worth the money as they are comfortable and the sound quality is brilliant. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic earphones I had purchased these after going through countless earphones, and I am delighted by the durability and sound quality of these. Unlike other earphones I had had, it has a very thick cable and metal around the jack to decrease the likelihood of them breaking - and it gives a variety of customisations to really make it comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal for travelling audiophiles. A great pair of in ear headphones. A great way to listen to streamed music or music files on an i-phone or i-pad. They give a detailed presentation with a reasonably wide soundstage for in-ear monitors. They come with nine different ear buds for a perfect fit and three very effective audio filters (reference, bass boost, treble boost). I recommend using them in combination with an I pad and an Audioquest Dragonfly Black external dac/amp for improved audio quality. Fully recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very strong performance As a mix engineer of hit records across the past 20 years I was looking for a pair of in ear headphones that could give me a good representation of my mixes and a quality recreational listening experience similar to my studio monitoring. I am very pleased with the RHA T20i. With the reference filters fitted I get a detailed top end and great bottom that doesn’t feel falsely enhances. Well done RHA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sound, great tuning! Bought the RHA t20is a little reluctantly due to the cost (most I've spent on wired earphones) but do not regret it for a moment! I'm a fan of loud bass and with the bass tuning, you get a really nice sound. The build quality seems great and they're very comfy. Great earphones. The Richer Sounds guys at the Cardiff store were also super helpful, great customer service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A step up from the norm Previously owned a pair of Sennheiser MOMENTUM 2 headphones which did a good job although I was looking for something a bit better. After a short period of time owning these headphones you can hear a distinct difference. If you are a person that likes deep base then these headphones aren’t for you. The company is UK based and thankfully unlike a lot of headphone makers have resisted making headphones for the US drum and base market. The box does include 3 filters that are interchangeable to allow a change in listening experience although I have left the reference filters in place. Even using these on an MP3 file the headphones bring through a fantastic range of clarity that previously wasn’t heard. Whilst some may think these a pricey purchase I would certainly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, excellent build & flat sonics Bought these a month ago on a whim. Found them to be of excellent build, nice looking, easy to use, quite comfortable, though one ear piece fits my one ear better than the other, and unusually flat and unexaggerated sounding. I am a sound engineer and was pleased to find them so flat sounding. While this may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there are more trebly and more bassy caps that can swapped out for the default ”reference” ones, though I haven’t tried them yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound but!!! Great sound but prefer the reference filters and the problem is the filters work loose and fell out with ear tips never to be seen again (only on third use) Also the only way to contact RHA seems to be via chat on there website and still awaiting reply with regard to supplying replacement parts. When used with a FiiO amplifier there seems to be a problem with a lot of distortion. Maybe Richer Sounds could recommend a compatable amp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RHA T20i’s I had the opportunity to demonstrate these in the Reigate Store of Richersounds with the help of Andrew one of the sales team there and I was quickly blown away with the quality and sound of these RHA T20i’s. Then Andrew showed me the Audioquest Dragonfly Black USB DAC and was completely blown away with the quality of the sound of both of these together I was so impressed that I bought the both of them and I am not disappointed that I did, only had these for a couple of weeks now and they sound quality is simple brilliant and seems to be improving the more I use them. I cannot thank Andrew enough for the way that he listened to what I needed and delivered Quality Sevice. Many Thanks Richersounds from a Happy Customer.
