Bought this a month ago and its all good so far.
we have the worst room for tv's sofas either side of the viewing angle and big south facing window. So glare and viewing angle are both problems. This was one of the reasons for this tv over the others. must admit works great!
bonus bits that were missed from all the reviews i read is the main input outputs and power are on a seperate unit with a thin cable connecting to the tv. This makes stealthing cables very easy.
Downside at the moment i am still getting used to the bigsby feature which seems to come on radomnly.

Bought TV 1 week ago. after previous OLED TV suffered screen burn from ITV logo sfter only 2 years was only slight but once noticed your eyes will go to it every time you switch it on. This TV is very comparable to the OLED picture quality in every aspect but is much brighter and can be used near a window due to this. I have tried all the settings and found that remotes (2 provided) both work well but BIXBY is a bit of hit and miss as it does not appear to get it right all the time. Normal TV is better than expected HD is exceptional and full 4k is in my opinion better than my previous OLED. I have re watched the Avenger films and they are definitely better on this TV as the extra brightness in a normal lit room (side lighting not ceiling lighting) makes all the difference. Before buying this TV i contacted Samsung who informed me that this TV has 96 FALD dimming zones compared to half this on the 55Q80R so there is a difference. Must mention thye 2 Delivery lads from Richer sounds were very polite and kept me fully informed via text and mobile when they would be arriving so well done to them.
