”The Sonos multi-room system is still a great choice”. ’What Hi-Fi?’ 2020 Product of the Year.

Sonos for your existing hi-fi or active speakers

If you’re looking for the Sonos experience but want to keep your existing hi-fi, home cinema or active speakers, then this is the device for you. Connect to your current system’s AUX input and turn it into a fully-fledged Sonos streamer.

Stream your vinyl, CD and more across your Sonos system
Another advantage with the Sonos Port is the ability to play your existing media, back through a connected Sonos system. Vinyl records, CDs or other media can now be played throughout your home – using the wireless Sonos system.

Power up – automatically
Featuring a 12V trigger, connect to compatible amps and AV receivers* and you’ll get auto power on/off. Just press play in the app or ask out loud and your system powers up automatically. *Amp or AV receiver requires a 12V trigger input.

Top quality sound
Just as you’d expect from this multi-award-winning brand, the sound quality is first-class. Utilising a top quality DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the Sonos Port has the smooth, spacious and well-balanced sound that has now become a Sonos signature.

Sonos streaming
Use the superb Sonos app to play all your music in all your rooms. Compatible with not just the music stored on your device but also over 80 streaming services, the Sonos app is the only music app you need. Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Google Play Music, Tidal, Napster and Deezer are just a handful of the most popular services supported.

The Sonos system
Sonos gets better when you add more speakers. Play a movie in your living room, a podcast in the kitchen or the same music across all your Sonos devices – flexibility is key. The latest Sonos components link via your home wi-fi but for very best results, linking one component to an Ethernet connection will allow you to take advantage of the famous Sonos 'Mesh' system.

Strength through numbers
The more components you add, the stronger the dedicated wireless mesh becomes. Best of all, because it runs independently from your wi-fi, the reliability and strength of the signal is unaffected by wi-fi dropouts.

AirPlay 2 control
If you’d prefer to use Apple’s AirPlay instead of the Sonos app, then that’s not a problem with the Port. AirPlay connects via your home’s wi-fi and lets you effortless stream audio from your Apple Mac, iPhone, iPod and other many other compatible devices.

Built for continuous improvement
With its smooth good looks, the Sonos Port is designed to look every bit as good in years to come as it does now. Yet Sonos have taken the idea of design longevity further by engineering in the ability to update the electronics through future software updates.

Compatible with voice control devices
Simply connect to an Amazon Echo or Google Assistant device (such as the Sonos One) or phono and the Sonos Port becomes part of your voice controlled smart home system.

Link up to Sonos, with the versatile Sonos Port.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up and sounds fantastic I bought this to add streaming capability to my valve amp based system. It works very well and sounds every bit as good as my £500 CD player.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Richer sounds 100% brilliant ....but Sonos???? With email support being with drawn by Sonos and then the printed UK customer support telephone number now ringing unobtainable you are left to the `FAQ's !!. Sonos Port is not easy to install especially when you purchase to as a range extender (why you read it can be) to help with the constant drop outs and umpteen issues

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make better use of your existing Hi-Fi system The addition of a PORT to my Hi-Fi system now enables all streamed music to play not only through my Sonos speakers but just as importantly, through my prized, Hi-Fi system. The sound is stunning. I can also connect my turntable to the PORT and stream throughout the Sonos system - how cool is that

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sonos Port Review I purchased a Sonos Port using the Trade Up option with an old piece of redundant equipment. Paul at Richer Sounds was very helpful, and I took delivery to home at no cost. Be careful with the Port and vinyl record players as you need a Phono Preamp, luckily my player has one built in and the sound quality through my playbar is superb... really happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great piece of sound I am very satisfied with the product and I will recommend further

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A world of music An amazing piece of kit that opens up a world of music: hundreds of radio stations, streaming services, and - when connected to the right audio output - my collection of CDs with all my best loved music.
