overall excellent value
Bought this to go with my new Samsung TV. Easy to connect, great sound (3 listening modes) good for dialogue. Listened to other bars but to get something better costs twice the price...well done Wharfedale. Considered the 'S' model but am glad I stuck to the base model as it's 'bass' is ample for everyday watching.

Bought based on good reviews but...
No slight on Richer Sounds here. Service wise they under promised and over delivered. This was the same price as Amazon but listed as longer delivery. I went with Richer Sounds anyway because... support small business. They ended up delivering before Amazon would have anyway. Superb.
This is a product review though. Disappointing. Flat sound. No depth. I expected better from Wharfedale but it looks like tech giants like Samsung might the beating them in the soundbar game.

Great 'old-fashion' service
I ordered a soundbar over the phone and spoke with a friendly helpful man whoa dvised the item was out of stock, expected mid-late December so I went ahead & placed the order together with the very attractive extended warranty deal (refunded if not claimed)

Not the speech enhancing performance anticipated.
I wear 2 hearing aids and need more speech clarity - not bass volume.
TV is a 46 inch 10 year old Panasonic.
Connection easy using RCA leads enclosed. TV did not have HDMI-ARC so volume control of TV speaker volume is independant of Bar volume. With no indication on the Bar of its volume level I found I was constantly muting the tv speakers to check Bar volume. Then you get to a loud bit in the programme / adverts / change channel that was broadcast louder and would have to start fiddling with both volume levels again. What a pain!!
Regarding the sound from the Bar, Both my wife & I found very little change in treble / bass when switching between the 3 sound profile settings - and she has very good hearing. Couldn't tell which profile setting you were on other than by muting the tv speakers & changing Bar setting & listening very carefully. Not ideal.
However, Richer Sounds were superb. Knowledgeable call centre people (Louis & Matt) were really helpful. I did in fact return the Bar for the reasons above and Matt even arranged collection. The 6 year insurance was also fully refunded within a couple days. Couldn't have asked for a better company to deal with.

Great sound but problems with connection.
Bought this a few weeks back. Took me a while to connect and had to do it initially through the headphone socket. Got an HDMI lead which was much better, but each time the TV is turned off, it loses the connection and the HDMI has to be unplugged and the reattached to connect again- a bit frustrating!

bought it about 4 weeks ago to replace another soundbar hoping to improve the sound as the old one only worked through the earphone jack. unfortunately it took hours of trying to get it to work and finally got my grandson to install it. but the sound is worse than my previous speaker. there is hardly any bass and the treble sounds as though people are hissing through their teeth. there is no adjustment apart from the 3 preset settings which do nothing noticable. we have given the old speaker to charity now so cannot reconnect
