With 4 digital optical inputs, the CYP AUD41 is a perfect hub to connect your HD set-top box, Blu-ray player, games console and seamlessly switch between them with the supplied remote.
The CYP AUD-41 supports a variety of audio formats including Dolby Digital, DTS and 2 Channel LPCM. In addition, it is also able to handle sampling rates up to 192 KHz and up to 24bit resolution.
The optical output is also amplified, extending the range that the optical signal can travel by a further 5 metres.

Bought this to connect blue ray player and Apple TV to sonos playbar.Seems to do the job well so far. Remote control is handy

Excellent quality, but a little more expensive than other options.
I needed something that would allow me to connect my Astro Mixamp's digital optical audio input into both my xbox 360 and xbox one, without having to physically change the cable from one console to another.
This did the job perfectly! There was no loss in sound quality at all. I've still got two optical input ports free on this.
