Designed to connect to Cyrus 40 products, the Cyrus 40 PSU delivers a huge boost in performance. More of an essential than an accessory, this dedicated power supply not only boosts the power supply signal but also separates different elements and takes the strain away from the mains unit’s supply. The result is cleaner sound, reduced distortion, enhanced dynamics and lower noise – all from this one box.
Optimised configuration
The power supply requirements for a CD player are very different from that of an amp, which is why the 40 PSU has its own on-board micro-processor that communicates directly with the host device. This helps deliver the optimum configuration, with virtually noise-free power from a full range of digitally controlled voltage output levels. Compatible with the 40 AMP, 40 CD, 40 PPA and 40 ST models, this is a great way to upgrade your system’s performance, without having to replace the original components.
Independent power supplies for reduced distortion
With no fewer than five, independent power supplies built-in, the 40 PSU maximises your component’s full potential. One of the supplies is dedicated to digital circuitry while the other four supply the analogue circuits. These are split into two fixed and two variable voltage supplies, that are ideally matched to low and high voltage supplies, such as for a CD or streamer and amp.
