My first DAC, not disappointed!
I bought myself a pair of Sennheiser HD599 headphones late last year and I mainly used that with my Amp. When I used the headphone with my Lenovo laptop, I thought the sound is ok but not great. So I did my research and finally decided to try the Cryus Soundkey (as Dragonfly is much more expensive). This is the first time I tried a portable DAC. I thought to myself, it's such a 'small USB stick', how could they justify the cost? When I tried it, I was not disappointed. It came with a USB A to micro USB cable which is ok for the laptop connection but I had to buy another USB C to micro USB cable so that I can also use the Sounkey with my phone. The reason it's a 'Gaming' DAC because it came with a 3.5mm splitter cable such that gamers can plug their headset and separate the mic audio (which won't go through the DAC). The Soundkey is very portable and I think the price is just right. The sound quality is great and I use it every day now whenever I am using my laptop.

Excellent Upgrade
Bought this both to upgrade my computer sound for some sound design I am doing and to link my Grade headphones to my Galaxy phone. Does an excellent job at both. Only downside was that I had to purchase an extra cable for my phone. Item description didn't clearly explain that I would have to do this.

Great little device
I bought this to enable me to improve the sound quality of devices such as my Android phone and Kindle Fire through my HiFi system(marantz\spendor). It works a treat. I did have to buy a different connector for each of the types of USB but that was fine as I had expected it (you won't need these if you are using this as a USBA computer/ headphones/type of connection which is supplied). The key thing for me is the significant improvement in sound quality; it is very small and unobtrusive; and the price was fine (best to direct through Richer website- also very happy with prompt delivery...). Next step is to try out with my Amazon Echoflex (needs another cable type but I can live with that)

Bought this to use with my Grado SR80e headphones...was not disappointed with the results. The Soundkey takes sound quality to another level... more of everything with improved clarity and soundstage. Highly recommended.

Amazing sound from a tiny gadget
I bought my Cyrus Soundkey for music rather than gaming. From online reviews I got the impression it was a serious competitor to the Audioquest Dragon Red at the price of the Black. I’m not disappointed; the Soundkey transforms the sound through earphones from my Toshiba laptop into a whole new level where you can really enjoy it. The transformation with my iPad is not so great but still very impressive and worthwhile. Well worth the money!
