At the heart of the Cyrus Lyric is a comprehensive music streamer that's the ideal way of listening to your digital music. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and stream from your NAS drive, Mac, PC or laptop computer. Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and DLNA make it easy to connect. Controlling is even easier with the Cyrus Cadence app for Apple iOS devices.
High Resolution sound
The Lyric accepts a wide range of file types, including AAC, MP3, WMA, and AIFF. It will also stream high resolution FLAC and WAV files at up to 192 kHz/24bit - that's better than CD quality. Now you can access all your stored music, effortlessly and in true hi-fi quality.
Bluetooth
For even easier wireless music streaming, the Lyric also comes equipped with a Bluetooth receiver built-in. Ideal for when you want some background music or music from a visitor's smartphone, simply pair up devices and you're ready to listen - wirelessly.

Connect and charge your Apple iPhone or iPad via USB
With Type A USB sockets front and rear you can connect up your iPhone/iPad or USB storage drive. Listen to music from your Apple device whilst also charging it by connecting to one of these USBs. In addition to these there is also a USB Type B connection at the rear to suit a laptop/PC connection.
Connect up everything else
With a wide range of digital and analogue sockets the Lyric will make the connection with your other sources. Very happy
Had this for a month now, to replace Arcam Solo Music. This is much better in all ways - well built, plenty of features and great sound. Quick and responsive to controls and remote. Very happy - would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant product
It is impossible to praise the Lyric too much - the facilities included and the sound it produces are, in my mind, unbeatable. It really is a fantastic 'box of tricks.'
But as with so many modern products based on IT, its firmware will need upgrading from time to time - this is a slightly convoluted procedure but is not beyond even an old codger like me. Do read the literature on this - it is important if you want to get the best out of it, and especially if you want to use the Cadence app.
