LCR - the versatile speaker
As an LCR (Left Centre Rear) speaker, this unobtrusive DALI suits many applications. Used in a home cinema system, high quality immersive cinema sound doesn't get much less obtrusive. The unobtrusive style also makes the LCR MK2 speaker ideal for stereo, multi-room or many other applications.
Slim and wall mountable
With a depth of just 128mm, the LCR (Left, Centre, Rear) is less than half the depth of other speakers of this size. It's also been optimised to sound its best from 0-10cm from the wall; meaning you can easily wall mount it without adversely affecting the sound quality.
Mount it vertically or horizontally
One of the neatest features with the Opticon LCR is the ability mount it either vertically or horizontally. This makes it just as impressive as a centre speaker as it is at the front or rear of a room.
Hybrid ribbon tweeter for the finest detail
The Opticon LCR MK2 uses a ribbon tweeter paired with a more conventional dome tweeter for sensational results. With the ribbon tweeter handling the very highest frequencies - most of which can't even be heard by the human ear - the conventional tweeter is freed up to handle lower frequencies. This means less harmonic compression and a high frequency that can 'breathe'. What you hear is an effortless treble performance full of rich detail and free from harshness.
Improved drive units for the finest sound
Featuring low-loss, wood fibre SMS woofers that are found in DALI's reference grade speakers and a brand new soft dome tweeter derived from the Callisto range, the Opticon LCR MK2 sounds better than ever. Designed for precision and accuracy of sound, the Opticon lets you hear the music exactly as the artist intended.
Made in Denmark. Assembled in pairs
Rather than 'buying in' cabinets, DALI produces the Opticon cabinets in-house. This means they can be sure of the quality and consistency of build. The solid cabinets are designed for low levels of resonance giving low distortion and help to promote a natural sound. Assembled in pairs, the manufacturing process ensures the speakers are as closely matched as possible – meaning you get evenly balanced sound and the best visual match.
