Offset tweeters for ‘wall-of-sound’
The Demand D15’s offset tweeters literally push the boundaries of sound. Using Definitive Technology’s 20/20 Wave Alignment Lens and asymmetric placement, they produce a soundstage that’s both wide but also precise at the centre point. This gives you an expansive ‘wall-of-sound’, without losing focus at the centre of the soundstage, meaning vocals sound totally lifelike.
Lifelike vocals from unique midrange system
Living up to their Definitive Technology name, the D15’s use patented Linear Response Waveguides for precise and natural vocal timbre. Best of all, you don’t have to be listening in the central ‘sweet spot’ to hear a balanced staging effect. Even when sitting off-axis, the frequency dispersion system guides the sound to create enveloping audio.
Powerful, controlled bass response
Using custom-woven carbon fibre woofers, the Demand D15 produces an effortlessly deep and evenly extended bass. Tight control means that the bass starts and stops precisely when it should, giving you an edge-of-seat thrill with action movies and the full dynamic emotion from your favourite movies. For even greater impact, twin passive woofers radiate the sound for subwoofer-like bottom end grunt.

Book appointment at Cambridge store to demo some floor standing speakers with Olivia. After reading reviews I had the DALI OBERON 7 in mind. I turned up with a selection of vinyl and on recommendation D15s were in demo room. The DALI speakers were connected up to the amp a purchased a few months ago, Cambridge ARX100D sounded good but when switched to the D15s, wow, sold. The sound quality and definition was something else, very well balanced, punchy bass that doesn't drone at low and high volume, I'm hearing my music collection in a whole new light. Fantastic speakers, and on easter deal half price. 11 out of 10 for speakers and richer sounds staff

Just awesome
I had some mordant shorts that I wanted to upgrade and these fitted the bill perfectly. Great clarity and depth of sound, and I'm slowly working through my music collection hearing parts I hadn't noticed before. I'm pairing them with a Cambridge CXA61.
