For the latest in smart home tech operation, the Denon CEOL RCD-N11DAB is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices. Simply download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app and then just ask Alexa or the Google Assistant to perform basic functions. Using the Apple Home App, Siri voice control from your Apple iOS device brings added functionality over AirPlay 2 – including grouping devices.
HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the RCD-N11DAB is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors.
Control it all with the HEOS app
Once you've set up your HEOS speaker system, you can stream music effortlessly via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS and Android, the app not only lets you stream your stored music but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.
Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, DLNA and built-in wi-fi for the complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The CEOL RCD-N11DAB also comes with wi-fi, Internet radio and DLNA. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via TuneIn as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect (Premium account required), Deezer, Tidal and Amazon Prime. DLNA compatibility lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.
USB, twin optical and RCA phono inputs– all included
Up front there's a USB socket. Compatible with USB mass storage devices and many iPod/iPhones, this offers a convenient way of listening to music stored on your iPhone, iPod or USB storage stick. Other connections include an RCA phono AUX input and two optical digital inputs. Between them, these are ideal for connecting your TV, Blu-ray player, games console or other compatible source. A subwoofer output is also included, making this the ideal system to drive a sub/sat speaker package.
CD player
As a further bonus, the CEOL RCD-N11DAB features a built-in CD player. This high quality player is ideal for keeping your existing CD collection in play. For added flexibility, it also plays CDRWs plus MP3 and WMA music files stored on disc.
DAB/FM radio
Another very handy feature is the built in DAB/FM tuner radio. A choice of DAB and FM gives you access to a wide range of local and national stations. For ease of use, RDS (Radio Data System) is included on the FM tuner.

Featuring a punchy 65 watt amp (at 4 ohms), the CEOL RCD-N11 is powerful for its size. Compatible with FLAC HD, ALAC, WAV and DSD music files, it’s also the ideal system for playing back Hi-Res music files.

BEAUTIFUL BIT OF KIT
Excellent neat design with intuitive features. I have paired with Kef Q350 speakers and the sound is awesome. I love it! Hard to get hold of - watch out for price drops and nab yourself one.

Great customer experience
I ordered a Denon N11 and a pair of Q Acoustics 3020i via Telesales. First contact was Rob who took my order: no quibbles matching and bettering an online price. Second contact was Sean. I knew stock erratic bit sooner came apparent that stick was on the way. In fact only took a week. Can't fault the service from Rob and Sean.

Nice player
I brought this when my previous player broke down. The sound is lovely. I did have a difficulty with connecting the speakers from my earlier player which had to be stripped down before I could insert them.
The antenna was also difficult and it took a while to get it going.
I am sure once I am familiar with it I will be able to get more out of the DAB and internet radio.
The store were helpful in me making a decision on what to buy.

Outstanding performer
Really delighted with CEOL RCD-N11 and am still discovering new features. I use in a large kitchen with Bose speakers and the device creates a much improved sound with more bass than previous set up. So it delivers a really great sound plus its sleek with no buttons so very easy to keep clean & dust free. The remote control is simple and straight forward to use
DAB & DAB+ is great, internet radio via my WiFi is robust, integration to Spotify is easy to set up and I am very impressed with Apple AirPlay. All the features have been very easy to set up.
I had various questions before I purchased and Richer Sounds Telephone support was fabulous in answering all my questions. The device also arrived much earlier than the purchase estimate. Great product, Great Service & a Great Price - what more can I say as a delighted customer!

Great little unit and it looks fab
Was toying between this and a Marantz and went for this on the basis of a recommendation from the guys in the shop.
Am hugely impressed- it sounds great, was dead easy to set up and I’ve been busy streaming to it regularly.

At last - Airplay 2 in an all-in-one solution
Bought this to replace a Marantz M-CR511 which is very similar but importantly (to me) has Airplay but not Airplay 2. This HiFi fits perfectly in my kitchen/diner and is paired with some Wharfedale speakers. It has every connection I could want. There are surprisingly few options out there if you want an all-in-one unit like this (just add speakers or buy the version which includes matching speakers).
The HEOS app seems ok but superfluous to me. I can stream music from my phone or even just ask Siri to play a track or playlist ‘in the kitchen’ and the Denon wakes up and starts playing. Then I can ask Siri to play the same thing ‘upstairs’ or wherever I have other devices.
As always the Richer Sounds salesperson was excellent and spent time talking with me to discover what I wanted and try to find options for me.
Only backward steps - doesn’t seem to like EXFAT formatted USB sticks, and won’t control an iPod/iPhone via the USB - both of which the Marantz did (the Marantz is the sister brand of Denon and the units look very similar, as do the displays so the Denon is an evolution of the Marantz).
