”We suspected it would be good. We just didn’t realise it’d be this much better.” ‘What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision magazine’. 5-star review.

Bluetooth now standard

For the first time, Denon’s best-selling Hi-Fi mini system comes with Bluetooth connectivity. This lets you wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet and stream your stored music or favourite streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. For improved sound quality when not using Bluetooth, a simple switch lets you power down the circuits, creating less internal electrical noise.

The compact system that still puts sound first
Denon’s baby Hi-Fi systems have always been renowned for putting sound first and the DM41 DAB is no different. "Simple & Straight" circuit design minimizes distortion from the input selector, electronic volume control and power amp for sound purity and very low levels of distortion. Working alongside this, Triple Noise Reduction Design (TNRD) works to preserve the signal quality for the most accurate, life-like sound.

DAB radio
The Denon DM41 DAB comes with an impressive sounding tuner radio that's comprehensively equipped. Featuring DAB+, DAB and FM (RDS), the tuner has all your radio needs covered and, as ever, puts sound quality first.

Top quality CD player
Many of us still have a sizeable CD collection and it’s here where the DM41 really excels. Denon’s first-rate engineering gives CDs a smooth, dynamic sound. The player is also flexible enough to playback WMA and MP3 encoded discs.

Connect up three other components
Although a brilliant system in its own right, the DM41DAB reaches out to your other sources, too. If you've got a TV, games console or TV set-top box, you can plug them in using the two standard optical inputs. An analogue AUX input is also included for older sources.

Pump up the bass with an optional subwoofer
By fitting a subwoofer output, Denon gives you a wider choice of speaker options. Instead of medium-sized or floorstanding speakers you can use an active subwoofer with small satellite speakers - the choice is yours.

Perfect for a second room
The compact size makes the DM41 DAB ideal for serious sound in a second room. Many have used their previous Denon M-Series systems in bedrooms, studies and kitchens and have been delighted with the results. The clock, sleep timer and headphone output all help improve the systems functionality.

Proper Hi-Fi in a compact box – the Denon DM41 DAB still leads its class.

The Q Acoustics 3020 speakers are descended from an illustrious line of award-winning speakers – and it shows!

Award-winners

The Q Acoustics 2000-Series was one of the most widely praised speaker ranges of its time. Having picked up numerous awards throughout its life, it’s fair to stay that the range was something of a standard setter in its class. With revisions to every aspect of that fundamentally assured design, the 3000-Series is set to take the market by storm.

The best made better
At the heart of the 3020 are brand new speaker units for an even more impressive sound quality. Starting at the top, the new Ring Dome tweeter provides a more accurate response, for the precise reproduction of even the most subtle aspects of music. The tweeter unit is also decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that it isn't affected by vibration from the bass unit. The new Aramid Fibre/Paper woofer cone is light and rigid and helps give the 3020s their punchy, agile sound quality.

Powerful bass
With a larger diameter bass cone and increased cabinet volume, the Q Acoustics 3020 offers a noticeably more powerful sound than its little brother, the 3010. Ideal for larger rooms and/or lovers of dance, rock and full orchestral music, the 3020 brings greater dynamic realism, enhancing the feeling of ‘being there’. The improved efficiency also ensures these speakers an easier load to drive, making them ideal for less powerful amplifiers.

Class-leading cabinet
With revised cabinet bracing, the distinctive Q Acoustics cabinets have been made even better. With reduced cabinet resonance, the sound becomes less coloured and truer to how it sounded in the studio/concert venue. Uprated audiophile grade crossover components improve the transparency of sound still further.

New finishes
Still distinctively designed with signature rounded cabinets, the new 3000-Series is available in a wider range of finishes than ever. Choose between Matte Graphite, Black Leather Effect or Black Lacquer for a technical look to blend well with your other hi-fi components. Alternatively, White Lacquer looks great in modern interiors. Finally, the American Walnut vinyl finish is the ideal complement for both antique and traditional furniture.

One of the finest all-round speakers available at its price and now available in five individual finishes, the only dilemma you’ll have with the 3020 is which one to pick!

More Information
Brand Denon
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good but not sparkling First up - For a non high-end setup I am very happy with this (Denon M41 & Q3020's). Second up - (and actually I would have selected 4.5 stars if this was allowed) - I like a more sparkly (bright?) sound, so initially I thought this combo didn't quite hit the bar for me. BUT - two tips for y'all if you like it brighter... 1) Turn the Denon's SPK OPTIMIZE off, via the SETUP menu. It's set to ON as default for, I believe, a tuning to suit Denon's own M41 speakers. Doing this resulted in a more taught bass with the Q 3020s, to my ears at least. 2) Another personal preference is for a constrained bass that doesn't boom too much (at least for everyday listening in my small upstairs flat). So - don't throw away the provided foam plugs for the Q3020's rear bass ports. If you like a tighter, but still strong bass, give the plugs a try. Take the them out for a party though! By the way: The Bluetooth connectivity to my Samsung S6 is immediate and stable.
