Rather than using two or three speaker drivers, with a crossover to split the music between them, the Eclipse TD307 MK2A uses just one. The advantages offered by a full-range driver include pinpoint precision, consistent timing and a very smooth response across the frequency range. The paper unit used in the TD307MK2A is lightweight and quick to respond, giving a natural and dynamic sound.
Compact size makes them ideal for desktop audio or home cinema
With a height (including pedestal stand) of just 195mm, these compact speakers are ideal for a wide range of applications. Ideally sized for use with a subwoofer, the TD307MK2A speakers lend themselves to satellite speakers in a home cinema system or stereo speakers for a high quality desktop audio system.
Vibration elimination solution
These speakers don't just sound punchy, thanks to anti-vibration technology they sound exceptionally accurate, too. With a high mass anchor at the back of the drive unit acting as a vibration sink, distortion is greatly reduced. The cabinet also boasts a 'diffusion stay’, which greatly reduces sound colouration from the cabinet itself. The result of this hi-tech design is an incredible sense of realism that leads the class at this price.
