Designed for the digital age, with Bluetooth connectivity
Bluetooth connectivity means that you can connect up to your choice of Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth-equipped Hi-Fi, wirelessly. Simply pair the turntable with your speaker and enjoy fuss-free connectivity with a range of around 10m. Compatible with aptX, the streaming quality is closer to a wired connection than standard Bluetooth.
Archive your records via USB
Further bridging old and new technologies is a USB socket. Connect the Chroma 400 RIAA BT to your PC or Mac and, using your choice of software, you can record all your LPs to MP3. From here, simply load them on to your MP3 player or NAS drive, record on to CD or just have the discs archived on your computer, making your LPs more accessible than ever.
Connect more - Built-in phono stage
Equipped with a built-in RIAA pre-amp (phono stage), the Chroma 400 RIAA BT also connects via its cable to just about any Hi-Fi system. Provided your music system has an AUX input, the Chroma connects, without needing an extra pre-amp to give it the correct volume.
Stylish good looks and choice of wood effect
Curved edges and a premium wood effect finish give this turntable a room-friendly warmth. Choose between oak or walnut for the best match with your decor. The quality of design continues to the smallest details, such as the aluminium centraliser and neat toggle switch.
New, digital drive motor for sonic precision
With a revised motor, suspension and electronic control, the Chroma 400 RIAA BT delivers superb speed precision, giving you perfect stability and precision of sound. The revised motor is also quieter, letting you hear the most subtle parts of your favourite music. As well as the new motor, the platter is now a two-part design, improving speed consistency and pitch accuracy, for a more lifelike sound.
Carbon fibre tonearm
Another great improvement made to the Chroma 400 RIAA BT is the upgrade to a carbon fibre tonearm tube. Usually only found on more expensive turntables, a carbon fibre tonearm tube provides significant benefits to the sound quality. Being stiffer than steel, the tone arm is more rigid. This helps reproduce the music more accurately as there's reduced arm resonance. Simply put, the music sounds tighter, punchier and more detailed than before.
Supplied with the legendary Ortofon OM10 cartridge
Highly respected as one of the best cartridges in its class, the supplied Ortofon OM10 gets you off to the best of starts. Smooth yet detailed-sounding, the OM10 sounds great with a wide range of music and won’t harm your precious vinyl like lesser cartridges can.
Enjoy your vinyl to a high standard, fuss-free, with the Elipson Chroma 400 RIAA BT.
