”The new cone gives smoother and more subtle sound.” ’Hi-Fi Choice’ – Recommended.
Powerful, three-way performance
Using two drive units dedicated entirely to bass with a separate one for mid-range, the Focal Aria 926 has bass power to spare. Combined with the large floorstanding cabinet, it gives the Aria 926 the chance to do full justice to powerful RnB, large orchestral or stadium rock music. If you're looking for a speaker that can effortlessly portray the entire music spectrum, then this is it.
Flax cones for a natural sound
Using Focal's unique Flax cone material, the 926 also sounds smooth and natural. The dedicated mid-range unit lets vocals stand out from the mix and reproduces them exactly as the producer intended.
TNF tweeters for smooth precision
Developing Focal's famous inverted style tweeter further, the TNF tweeters use aluminium and magnesium with Poron suspension for an exceptionally smooth yet detailed sound. Waveguides help create an accurate soundstage that makes it feel like the musicians are in the room.
Sleek curves for a room friendly style
Although the Aria 926 speakers stand over a metre tall, their smooth lines and luxury finish means they effortlessly blend with your decor. Ideally used in medium-sized rooms at a listening distance of around 3 metres, these speakers create a 'wall of sound'.
Front ported for flexible positioning
By placing the bass port at the front rather than the rear of the cabinet, the Aria 926s can be placed closer to the rear wall without losing out too much on sound quality. Focal have also provided adjustable plinths with these speakers. By attaching spikes, this lets you get exactly the right degree of 'tilt' for the most precise listening experience.
Highly recommended by the hi-fi press, these multi-award-winning speakers play it all.

Superb build. Attractive speaker. Superb imaging
I bought these recently after listening to other smaller speakers. I did'nt want to really spend too much however after a great deal ofer and Geoffs help, these Focals trounced anything i have heard. I had Dali Zensor 7s which were/are very good but the focals go up another 2 notches with the fabulous details, superb separation, imaging . You really can hear the instruments as if they are in the room. 926 are great not too harsh on the treble and not boomy with the bass. Need breaking in and mine have not yet but still excellent. Don't waste your money on budget sprechens, i think its best to stretch and buy something you can listen to and want to listen to. Great build quality lovely looking speakers...not small but worth every penny. Thanks Richer Sounds team Sheffield especially Geoff for his advice and honesty.

Great speakers
I've had these speakers just over a week so they are still running in, but they already sound great and seem to be still improving. I've no doubt I made the right choice between these and the (admittedly cheaper) B&W 603 S2 which I also listened to. Extremely happy with them and can't see me wanting to replace these for a very long time. To my ears these are more detailed and sound more natural then anything else i've heard around this price. They also go very loud without any complaint!

Fantastic sound and build
I have owned my 926’s for about 6 months. These are fantastic sounding speakers with an impressive build quality. I initially had them paired with a Rotel A11 Tribute amplifier, rated at 50wpc. Although the sound was good I felt the amp was holding the speakers back. So I purchased a power amp rated at 300wpc and I was amazed at the difference the extra power made, bigger soundstage, more detail, clearer vocals, smoother highs, deeper bass, I could go on. While I am not saying you need 300wpc, I do think the extra power makes these beauties truly come alive.

Excellent, musical speakers
Have had these a week or so and they have started to open up nicely. A most enjoyable listen, plenty of detail, nice and coherent sound, will work beautifully with any style of music.

Full sound, great value
Paired with my newly acquired Cambridge Audio CXNV2 & CXA81 these speakers sound wonderful.
I also auditioned the definitive audio D15s that didn’t come close to the Focals.
I was very well looked after by Paul and Anthony at RC Leeds.

Deep, flawless finish and sound to match .
I bought these as I had to downsize ( my KEF R900’s being too big for the room ) . I originally intended to get a pair of KEF LS50 metas but upon hearing them in the Preston stores auditioning room I found them lacking in depth and base although the detail was superb. The sales staff were great and promptly substituted and suggested other options. Then along came the Focals. At last . A floor stander that’s not too big, nor to small. Full of detail , with a punchy room filling base line . A Goldilocks speaker. Although they couldn’t fully match my old R900’s they came pretty close which says a lot for a cabinet half the size and half the price . On arrival it was a simple task to assemble the floor plate/ feet and when positioned and after a couple of weeks running in I am happy to report that they sound even better thru my system ( Linn sondek / Linn Akurate DS ) and in my room than they did in the audition room. Thanks to Sam at Richersounds Preston for putting up with me and the many changes you had to make. If there was an area of improvement to be made …… a brew and a biscuit would be nice ! Cheers guys .

Focal Aria926 / Arcam sa30. Perfect!
I never knew much about av stuff but I like good sound. A few months ago I embarked on a journey of discovery which started at a certain place and ended somewhere completely different, in terms of equipment and budget!! All my own doing, of course, (budget I mean), but expertly guided and helped by the guys at RS Windsor and Eaton.
Big thanks to James, Zak, Steve and Lee for understanding and assisting with my lack of knowledge in these matters, especially James and Zak.
I’ve ended up with the superbly balanced Focal Aria 926’s and the hefty clean power of the Arcam sa30 integrated amp.
Thanks again guys, enjoying my music and movies much more and will definitely be back for all my av needs!
