Using the same innovative technologies as the rest of the Kanta range, the Focal Kanta Centre speaker makes the natural choice for completing a home cinema Kanta speaker system. The incredibly refined yet detailed Beryllium tweeter and fluid-sounding flax woofers are already renowned for their lifelike presentation, making them perfectly suited to a reference quality centre speaker.
Exceptional top-end clarity
Derived from Focal’s reference models, the Beryllium tweeter is a highlight. The Beryllium material is chosen for its lightness and rigidity. Developed and patented by Focal, the inverted dome tweeter is capable of covering over five octaves (1,000 – 40,000Hz), ensuring super-smooth harmonics and intense top-end detail from dialogue and soundtracks.
Flax NIC bass cones for natural dialogue
Focal’s woofer units are equally as innovative as the tweeter. Using a flax (French linen) construction, the cones are both light and rigid. The unique TMD cone surround acts as the perfect damper, allowing it to move freely while eliminating harmful vibrations. NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) technology features a Faraday ring, creating an optimal magnetic field for precise driver control. Swift to respond to the signal, the cone delivers a natural mid-range and a tight, punchy bass response.
High density cabinet for reduced resonance
Featuring ultra-rigid, high density construction, with curved side panels, the Aria Kanta Centre’s cabinet strongly resists resonance. This helps keep the sound as neutral as possible.
Optional stand
For optimal support and to align the Centre speaker with the front speakers, Focal offer an optional (at additional cost) Kanta Centre Stand. This is ideal for home cinema systems, where there may not be a suitable cabinet in front of the screen – especially with projector screens.

With its smooth, curvaceous style the Kanta Centre speaker blends seamlessly with your décor. The rounded design is available in a range of finishes for the best match with your living space. Choose between high gloss black or white for a contemporary style. For reduced distraction, these come with matte black and matte white front baffles which absorb rather than reflect light. You can also choose a walnut finish, available with either a black or ivory coloured front baffle. Attach the magnetically fixed woofer grilles for a more discreet style.
