With Focal’s renowned Beryllium tweeters, they feature breathtaking top-end detail, with the optimised flax woofers providing a lifelike mid-range and bass. They’re also ideal for using as satellite speakers within a Kanta AV speaker system. Luxuriously built in a range of finishes, the Kanta N°1 represent premium speaker technology at its most stylish.
Exceptional top-end response
Derived from Focal’s reference models, the Beryllium tweeter is a highlight. The Beryllium material is chosen for its lightness and rigidity. Developed and patented by Focal, the inverted dome tweeter is capable of covering over five octaves (1,000 – 40,000Hz), ensuring super-smooth harmonics and intense top-end detail.
Flax NIC bass cones for a natural sound
Focal’s woofer unit is equally as innovative as the tweeter. Using a flax (French linen) construction, the cone is both light and rigid. The unique TMD cone surround acts as the perfect damper, allowing it to move freely while eliminating harmful vibrations. NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) technology features a Faraday ring, creating an optimal magnetic field for precise driver control. Swift to respond to the signal, the cone delivers a natural mid-range and a tight, punchy bass response.
Time-aligned drivers for sonic precision
The unique curvature of the front of these speakers doesn’t simply provide a more aesthetic appeal, it helps with the sound quality too. By setting the drivers at specific depths, the sound from each arrives at your ears at precisely the right time. Known as time-aligning, this creates a more harmonious sound. The cabinet is constructed from moulded multi-ply panels, delivering exceptional rigidity and ultra-low distortion. To get the very best from these speakers, we'd recommend placing them on top quality stands of around 50 - 65cm in height.

Choose between high gloss black or white for a contemporary style. For reduced distraction, these come with matte black and matte white front baffles which absorb rather than reflect light. You can also choose a walnut finish, available with either a black or ivory coloured front baffle. Attach the magnetically fixed woofer grilles for a more discreet style.
