Detailed at the top end
Placing the tweeter right at the top of the speaker and fitting it within a curved baffle helps enhance the speakers sound staging. This means you get a bright, open sound that spreads generously between the speakers. The polyester tweeter unit also provides pin-sharp detail while remaining smooth and easy on the ear – the ideal balance.
Punchy bass response
Featuring the same bass driver as the award-winning F302 model, these standmount speakers deliver on bass. The woofer units are also carefully designed to balance clear, articulate mid-range with powerful bass. The multifibre cones are attached to the chassis by fluted rubber surrounds. These effectively damp unwanted resonances, making the speakers sound exceptionally smooth and life-like.
Versatile standmount design
The accommodating size of these speakers makes them ideal for smaller rooms or where less dominating speakers are required. Ideal for a rich well-balanced sound in small and medium-sized rooms, the F301 strikes an ideal balance.
Choice of colour
Strikingly finished, the F301 speakers are available in a choice of walnut, black ash or light oak vinyls. The delicate tweeters are protected by a mesh grille while a removable fabric grille is deployed for the woofer unit.

Fantastic Sound, a real improvement.
I bought these a few weeks ago to update my old speakers. They are exactly what I was looking for and the sound is really excellent.

Lovely natural sounding speakers
I have these in place of my previous floorstanders, they are in the same location on stands. I am really pleased with them as they jus sound 'right' with everything. Alone they reach down comfortably to the low 40hz range and go on a little further still at reduced level. So even without a sub they sound great! I did buy a sub as well just for the lowest of notes. These are super smooth in the treble without loss of airiness the midrange is creamy and detailed and the bass is tight and musical and well extended for the size of speaker. While they are a whisker quieter than the floor standers or my other system Klipsch speakers I find I can turn the volume up higher without harshness, when trying them out after bedding in time. But I don't feel the need to blast them out mega loud as I can hear everything with great clarity.

Classy looking with grown up sound
These are a big step up from my Tannoy Eclipse 1's. I'm impressed with the treble as the speakers are great with acoustic guitars, and I'm hearing instruments in the background that I didn't hear before. The Bass is not that deep, but it does have great control. To my ears, these are better that the Mission lx2, and MA bronze 2 which I found both a little bland in comparison.
