Although Fyne Audio are relative newcomers, they have an experienced team with over two hundred years’ of experience. Take a look at the Scottish company’s technical innovation and top quality finish and you’ll see that they’ve hit the ground running with these award-winning speakers.
Award-winning tech for a natural sound
Just like the major award-winning F501, the F500 uses innovative technology. The innovation starts right at the top. Rather than placing the titanium tweeter separately, it’s within the body of the woofer unit. Using their proprietary IsoFlare waveguide, the high frequency sound blends seamlessly with the rest of the mix, giving a wide and natural-sounding soundstage from a single point source.
Multifibre cone with fluted rubber surrounds for natural-sounding mid-range
The main drive unit is designed and engineered with maximum attention to detail. A rigid, cast aluminium chassis gives optimum support and ventilation, both of which reduce distortion. The multifibre cone is attached to the chassis by fluted rubber surrounds. This effectively damps unwanted resonances, making the speakers sound exceptionally smooth and life-like.
Unique BassTrax port system for even bass and easy positioning
The innovation continues right to the bottom of the speaker, with the BassTrax port system. Rather than using a basic bass port at the front or back of the cabinet, Fyne Audio have developed a sophisticated downwards-firing port system. Channelling the air down a profiled diffuser, the air is dispersed uniformly in the room. This neat bit of design makes the speakers far less fussy about room positioning, making them easier to accommodate in most homes.
Ideal for smaller rooms or home cinema
As part of a full F500-series, these speakers are ideal as front and/or rear speakers in a home cinema system. Alternatively, the thorough design makes them perfectly capable as full range Hi-Fi speakers in small to medium-sized rooms.
Top quality finishes
Rather than using low cost vinyl, Fyne Audio have elected to use selected real wood veneers and high gloss finishes for these top quality speakers. Real wood veneers are available in dark oak or black oak finishes to best match your home décor. For a more contemporary finish, gloss black and gloss white finishes are also available.

Great sound, unusual look, perfect choice
Speakers perfect for a medium-sized room. They fill perfectly with sound that is detailed and clean. Together with my Marantz NR1200 they make a perfect pair.

Wonderful Speakers
I bought these speakers as an upgrade from a pair of well respected mid priced bookshelf speakers. What an improvement, these sound so much bigger than they physically are! How has Fyne Audio managed to defy the laws of physics? There is so much bottom end, clarity and detail coming from these bookshelf speakers. What surprised me was to hear the sound of a guitarist's fingers actually sliding along the nickel wound strings and the occasional click of the plectrum on the strings. I know these particular recordings so well and have never noticed those "hidden" detail sounds before, but these Fyne Audio speakers brought them out! These speakers are very solidly made as well - give them the knuckle rap test and they really do sound dead, no noticeable resonance from the cabinets. A very pleasing purchase and well worth investing in. To say I am happy with them is no understatement.
