Packing a hefty 85 watts per channel, the AXR85 has enough grunt to fill larger rooms with clean, effortless sound. Twin speaker outlets mean you can have a pair of speakers in another room or spread four speakers around a large, open-plan space.
Your whole system connected – including a turntable
Featuring a phono input (for turntable with MM cartridge), the AXR85 is the perfect amp for a vinyl based system. It doesn’t end here, though. Four RCA phono inputs are ideal for a CD player, streamer, games console and even your TV set-top box. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input at the front that’s handy for temporary connections – such as an MP3 player or smartphone. For more bass, you can add your choice of active subwoofer via the dedicated output.

Great service. Fine product. Very happy.
Literally just set this up and it is great not to have to give my amp a whack to get the left channel working.
The old one was a Cambridge Audio 35wpc amp (bought from Richer Sounds, Fulham Rd in April 2011)
The extra power and built-in tuner are great to have.
All looking great so far.

Love this Product
I bought this to replace an aging Arcam amp, thinking the Bluetooth and phono MM pre amp would declutter my system but actually did that and improved the sound 100%. Crystal clear high to mid range and punchy bass, very pleased with this ARX85 and oh it arrived next day, bonus

A proper hi-fi shop on our doorstep
We wanted to buy our son a decent record deck for Christmas, but didn’t want to break the bank. Alex at Tunbridge Wells was super helpful, and was brilliant at explaining the options. He obviously had real knowledge of the tech, not just what the brochures say! We ended up buying an Audio Technica deck with built in pre amp, and a stand alone Cambridge Audio amp. They both seem like very decent products at a reasonable price.
