Key to the Spektor's detailed, refined and powerful yet tuneful sound quality is the bespoke wood fibre bass woofers. Also used in its more expensive models, it gives a dynamic and precise sound. Partnering the impressive bass unit is a similarly high-performing treble unit. Soft dome construction gives upper notes a smooth yet precise sound, and when taken as a whole, the Spektor 6 is still one of the most natural-sounding speakers at its price point.
Well-made and practical
As you'd expect from this high-end Danish speaker brand, the Spektor's are well made, with smooth edges and a choice of black or walnut effect finishes. Spiked feet (rubber feet also included) give the most secure interface and effectively isolate the speakers for an even more precise sound.

Getting acquainted with the DALI SPEKTOR 6s
I purchased the DALI SPEKTOR 6's from Richer Sounds Leeds store after visiting the Leeds store, taking time to read various reviews and taking up the offer of an in-store sound clash against the stylish Q Acoustics Q3050i's. Mike at the Leeds store had the Leeds listening room set-up with both pairs easily switchable for comparison - he was patient, selected a range of music, shared the pro's and con's of both products without steering my decision, letting the sound do the talking. The forward feeling bass on the Q's makes a big first impression, literally dominating the room and musical feel. Selection became really interesting when switching speakers on tracks such as Phil Collins 1980 classic "In the Air Tonight" where the SPEKTORs sounded more capable in presenting the layers of drums and synthesizer in a super crisp, clear and altogether warmer sound stage - the Q's impressed on the drum solo yet felt less orchestral overall. A close run with both speakers sounding excellent at this price point. Mike recommended investing in the QED Revelation cable with the AIRLOC termination which seemed fitting to suit the investment and sound quality.
After a cautious week warming up the SPEKTORs I'm looking forward to turning the dial up a notch (or two). Thanks again to Mike, Chris and the team at Richer Sounds Leeds team who are passionate about hi-fi, patient with questions and totally focused on customer service - a pleasure to recommend the people, products and store.

Over the moon - a revelation!
Had new Onkyo/Dali Spektor6 set-up since Xmas and it has transformed our listening pleasure - age-related hearing difficulties a thing of the past!
Works brilliantly with TV, blu-ray and Eco Dot (Alexa is something else !!!).
Very impressed with service/advice at Exeter ‘Richer Sounds’.
PS - the neighbours love it as well!!!
