ARAY technology
The Clearway interconnect uses the same ARAY conductor geometry that was first used on the Chord C-line – with upgraded materials. The ARAY geometry conductors are heavier gauge oxygen free copper, insulation has been upgraded to FEP and the shielding is a dual-layer counter-wound heavy gauge foil design. The Clearway RCA is fitted with Chord direct silver-plated VEE 3 RCA plugs.

The improvements mean that the Clearway carries more musical detail. Dynamics are better, instruments and voices sound more realistic and there is better definition and clarity. The Clearway will let you see further into and get more involved with the music you listen to.

Excellent service as always…. delivered on time, just as promised. Still auditioning the cable as at present difficult to discern much improvement, although my Roksan CD player is very good.

Detailed and open sound
I used the lead to connect between cd and dac.
Really has given a noticeable difference. More subtle detail, feels like the music is wrapping around me.
£110 well spent!

All good to me
Got this cable to feed a Marantz 6007 to my Audiolab M-Dac Plus (tho upgrading soon to a Cd Transport), and it's all good to my ears. Sound is very sharp and clear. I'm sure it will carry me forward into upgrades as it seems very good.

Digital connection chord
In all honesty I did not try a cheaper option. It appears to be sensible to get the appropriate interconnect if you can stretch to it. They recommended and I bought it on that and am happy with the result. Enough said?

Instant Improvement
Replaced my cambridge digital coaxial for this and instantly can hear vast improvements bass is deep and tight now and the mids and highs can be be picked out wonderfully in the sound stage. cxc into cxnv2 driving kef Ls50, s. Don't really do cds but this has really swayed me to keep spinning them. And a long way off till the cable is burnt in yet as well.
If you didn't believe cables could make much difference you will now.

Clarity of sound perfect, quality of build awesome
I am no audiophile. I do have a reasonably expensive AV system with a quality AV Receiver, floor standing speakers and mid level cables, however my house is not acoustically treated and several of the rooms are irregular shapes. However, I like to DJ using my Denon SC600M, I listen to music most days and we enjoy watching movies occasionally on the surround sound system. So, have the Chord Clearway Digital Coaxial cables made a difference in my system. Yes they have. I bought four to use in my setup, predominantly for linking my Denon SC6000M turntable to my Denon X1850 mixer. The cables replaced analogue cables that came free with the setup. I had found the bass quite woolly on the system and noted the clarity of the sound from the DJ kit did not match that of other audio inputs. Now, these cables have delivered a cleaner more punchy bass and the clarity of mids and highs is improved. Are these cables better than any others? Are they worth the price? That I can't be sure of because my ears are not that well tuned but I have noticed the difference, felt the benefit and the interconnects are now in line with the quality of the rest of my set up.

Good cable give time to bed in.
I brought this cable a couple weeks go to replace a standard digital cable. Wired lt up to my denon tu1800 dab tuner. Not that impressed so I gave it 4to5 days to bed in.then things started to happen musical tighter sound larger sound stage a lot better bass etc.I took the cable out and put me old cable in to compare it won’t in there long walks all over it.then I tryed my CD player marantz 6007.I put on Sam smiths new cd I was blown a way.my system is nap250/hicap/nac42.5 spender speakers arcam dac2 linn sondeck
Heed2 chord suppersceen power cable from 2009. I recommend this cable both.
