Tuned ARAY geometry
The Shawline cables use the same Tuned ARAY conductor geometry as Chord's reference cables, to produce a ground breaking cable. All Tuned ARAY cables have an extraordinary degree of musical transparency and the Shawline transforms the performance of the new breed of DACs, CD players and Streamers.
Silver-plated conductors
The Shawline is built from PTFE insulated silver-plated conductors and uses a composite shielding material that works over a wide bandwidth and also reduces mechanical noise. The cable is assembled within a flexible plastic tube chosen to further reduce mechanical noise and a protective outer braid is fitted.

The RCA plugs are Chord's excellent VEE3 design and are direct silver-plated to improve signal transfer.

Sparkling Chord Interconnectors
I bought the SHAWLINE 1RCA interconnectors and they are well worth the money! Npo bial, no hump - just the sound as it was recorded.

Listen to the people who know
This is my first time using an external DAC connected with a Digital Cable. My initial thought was to try a TOS cable but I was assured by the Richer Sounds expert that fibre was not as good as digital cable. Ok buy any cable, again the expert assured me that the CHORD Cable was the best. On hearing the differences at home the CHORD was the correct choice. Thank You Richer Sounds Bury.The best is not cheap but it is worth it.

Very Nicely Made
This is my first ever Digital Coax Cable. Quite expensive but If you're like me and and want to minimise the potential for any weak links to hinder the performance of your system then I guess its worth it. Life time warrantee from Chord so I guess they have belief in the quality of the cable.

Is it worth the money?
I purchased this connection cable on the recommendation of the supplier of the CD deck that I was buying - to connect it to a DAC / amplifier. Their view was that it would be worth the cost (equivalent to 56% of the purchase price of the CD deck) when I upgraded my DAC / amplifier as intended. The sound / 'presence' / musicality of my new set-up is far in advance of my previous system - BUT how much I am able to attribute that improvement to the use of this (rather expensive) connector as compared to the new 'hardware' is debateable!
