Award-winner made better
Over the past half-decade, the Clearway has won countless awards for its class-leading performance. The latest ‘X’ version uses high performance XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) insulation. This replaces the previous PVC and is as fitted to Chord Company’s high-end cables. XLPE outperforms other materials in Chord’s listening tests and offers superior insulation for reduced interference – giving a smoother, more natural sound with enhanced detail.

High quality shielding
One of the reasons for the ClearwayX's exceptionally transparent sound quality is the high quality shielding. Shielding a cable brings out subtle nuances in the music, making it come to ‘life’. Featuring dual density foils, combined with a twisted-pair configuration, makes for a level of shielding that is effective to high frequencies. A protective PVC jacket is also applied, which again serves to further reduce any mechanically induced noise.

Great service
Went in store to get cables cut for my speakers. The friendly store attendant cut my cables, attached trousers and plugs and had them ready for me in about 30 mins. Great service, just a shame quality cables are so expensive but that's not their fault!

Marc was exceptional from start to finish guiding us through the best options for our needs. He has great knowledge of the products on offer and what we were looking for, letting us listen to the options in their newly renovated sound room. Always worth paying a bit more for speaker cables
Really happy with the sound from my set up.
Using these cables with a Rega Brio amp, Rega turntable and Dynaudio speakers. The staff went above and beyond too, fitting the plugs in store.

Not sure how much is due to the actual cable rather than old cable and how much to use of banana plugs rather than screw-in fitting both ends, but sound, especially voice from tuner, is clearest ever from my kit.
