More than just another Rumour
Replacing the PTFE insulation with high performance XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) improves the performance of this already impressive cable. As used in their high-end Signature XL cable, XLPE outperformed PTFE in listening tests. Superior insulation reduces interference, giving a smoother, more natural sound with enhanced detail.
Quality, silver-plated construction
Two sets of silver-plated conductors are insulated with XLPE and arranged in a twist configuration. The XLPE insulated conductors are held in place by a vibration damping outer jacket. Using silver-plated copper gives the sound a more musical balance and, combined with the XLPE insulation, a more lifelike presentation.
High-end performance from an unobtrusive cable
Rumour X produces excellent definition right through the frequency range, outstanding dynamics and, once run in, an outstandingly neutral tonal quality. Exceedingly Helpful
I visited the Bournemouth store this week on a mission to get my 1980’s hi-fi systems back up and running. Paul the store manager was incredibly helpful and sorted all the connections out for me perfectly. I would fully recommend this store and it’s staff.

Surely cable can't make that much difference?
Or so I thought. Paired this with Technics SA600 receiver and Dennon dp300 turntable with Q Acoustic 3030I speakers. Changed the cable from decent £10 per meter cable to this. The sound was transformed. It's too difficult to describe, but it's taken the system up to an elite level.

High quality cable
Recommended to me by the Richer Sounds London Bridge store. Have it hooked from my
Klipsch floorstanding speakers to a Cambridge Audio amp. Solid cable, excellent sonic clarity. Would highly recommend.
