Excellent service
Only ordered a stylus for my record player. As I’m a bit lala..I took the whole player in so the stylus could be fitted. Saw Roland.. he was extremely helpful and not at all disrespectful due to my incompetence.. He was friendly and efficient and extremely helpful.

Staff help
I bought an Ortofon 2M red stylus but had a bit of trouble with it. To say the staff were helpful is an understatement. They were brilliant and didn't let me leave until my deck was perfectly set-up. Thanks guys

Product fine, reason for purchase not
I am very satisfied with the stylus but not happy that I needed to purchase it. I bought my Grandson and his partner a Project Debut turntable as a surprise Christmas present. After only 6 hours use the Ortofon 2M Red Stylus failed. We returned the faulty unit to our local store where they repeatedly told us that the stylus was not covered by the guarantee. There was no further discussion, we were simply told he'd have to buy a new one, which my grandson did. There wasn't one in stock, so It was ordered and sent directly to his home address, and arrived very quickly. Excellent prompt service, and the turntable has been working correctly ever since.
However, a component which fails after only six hours use, to my mind indicates faulty manufacture. I feel rather let down by this strict adherence to the guarantee rules. Richer Sounds has an excellent reputation in Which Magazine, which is why I purchased from you in the first place. I had not expected a completely new turntable, but hoped to have the faulty component replaced without question.

Purchased a new Autofon 2m Red stylus which was put aside after I phoned up very pleased with the service received it made a big difference to sound quality and was a good price as well many thanks Dave

Crisp & Clear and Easy to fit
I have a Projekt Debut Carbon deck which came equipped with an Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge. Having recently noticed a reduction in sound quality, I called in at the Richer Sounds Leeds shop. Although they didn't have a stylus in stock, I ordered it on the Saturday and it was with me on Monday. (Excellent service as always!) The stylus is easy to fit but if the old stylus has been on some time, gentle persuasion is required! After a changeover that only took a couple of minutes, my vinyl sounds crisp and clear again.
