lovely transparent sound stage
I have had this turntable for around a month,It does take a bit of set up on the arm, It all depends on the type of TT you are looking for, if you don't mind the lift off lid and unique floating arm, it will reward with great sound and stunning looks Only 4 stars as this TT is not for people looking for the total easy set up, but I think it's the closest you can get to a plug and play with a real audiophile experience at the price.

Great to hear records again, on a terrific kit
Purchasing over the telephone was simple and handled in a friendly, competent and knowledgeable way.
This is my first quality turntable matched with a Cyrus amp and Monitor Audio silver floorstanders,
the sound is so detailed and rewarding you just have to hear all of the record and look forward
to hearing more, unlike some the volume doesn’t have to be high to enjoy, superb.
One word of caution, the serial number is on the bottom of the turntable.

Just bought a Roksan Attessa turntable in white that was in a flash sale, and I can't praise Richer sounds of Leicester enough, they even agree to post the turntable free of charge, arrived on time and everything went smoothly, saved a small fortune in the process, don't hesitate to buy from Richer Sounds, they go beyond what you would expect when it comes to customer service

Outstanding performance
Bought to replace an aging Dual CS505-1. Took some time to set up but once done the sound is outstanding, it is like listening to my vinyl for the first time. Absolute bargain at the price!

Awkward to set up & use but good sound quality
Had this about six weeks and very pleased with the sound quality which can be really superb if using an external phono stage like the Cambridge Duo. However, I found it challenging to set up and I’ve not yet managed to replace the lift-off lid without banging the arm each time, something which could become an issue as there is no clip to hold the arm in its rest so the stylus could become damaged. Overall it sounds great but is annoying to use.

I played the new rolling stones lp. a 180 gm one ,
I bought this aprox a month ago and the turntable was running out of true by a small amount. I rang exeter branch and was told to take back to the branch which I did . the staf was very helpfull and offered to refund me,when I said I would like to stay withe Attessa they reorded a new one with next day delivery. It arrived this afternoon. I am very pleased with new one and cannot fault itIN several ways it was easer to set upIt now plays much better than the 1st one

Third Time Lucky!?
Update on my previous review which described the turntable as Hit and Miss. I'm now on to my third turntable and so far so good in that it doesn't appear to get stuck in a groove (first turntable, possibly due to a faulty arm lifter, which didn't clear the arm sufficiently when playing) or have a power control failure (second turntable where none of the buttons lit up or worked). I'd therefore still describe the turntable as Hit or Miss as the quality is clearly inconsistent or insufficient. Roksan should improve the quality and consistency to avoid damage to their reputation.

Amazing sound but let down poor design features
Excellent in terms of sound quality and at the current price and absolute bargain. In fact I can't say it loud enough, sound quality is off the scale for a mid range deck. However, there are drawbacks in terms of usability - it took me over an hour to get the set-up right. Also the switch for going between the internal and external phono stage is way to fiddly but worst of all is the lift off (no hinge). This is because the turntable base is only marginally larger than the lid, which make it almost impossible to replace the lid without knocking the turntable arm. So 5 start plus for sound but only 3 stars for day to day usability.
