Order information

All orders are shipped via Aramex using suitable third party couriers.

If this is your first order with us, please ensure you enter the correct billing address for the card before proceeding to your payment. This will ensure there are no delays in processing your order, particularly on orders requesting deliveries to alternative addresses.

Orders placed via PayPal can only be delivered to the delivery address entered on the Richer Sounds website. Please check the delivery address is entered correctly before you proceed to payment as, once the payment is complete, we are unable to change the address details for PayPal orders

You will receive on-screen confirmation of the order once your payment has been authorised, along with an email acknowledging your order and the address that the goods will be delivered to.

In both cases, you will be provided with an order reference number. This is not confirmation that the order is complete or that it has been dispatched. If we are made aware of any issues with the order, we will contact you via email. If you have not heard from us after 3 working days, there may be an issue with your order that we are not aware of. In this instance please contact our Internet Sales team using the contact us form here or you can contact us by phone on 0333 900 0065 Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00, Saturdays 10:00 - 17:00 and Sundays 12:00 - 16:00. Please quote the order reference on your original order acknowledgment email with any enquiries.

In the rare case that we are out of stock of an item or there is a problem processing your payment after authorisation, we will contact you as soon as possible via email or by phone.

As part of our green credentials, we work hard to reduce the amount of waste we generate. This is why we avoid using excess packaging when sending items for home delivery, which includes not putting a smaller box in a larger one with extra padding when we dispatch items. If your purchase is a gift, please be aware that most items are delivered in the manufacturer's original packaging.

Amending or cancelling my order

Please bear in mind that once an order is placed we have just 15 minutes before the items are picked for the couriers and we may not be able to amend orders after this time period.

Delivery information

Once your order has been dispatched, we will email you with your full sales receipt and any guarantee information (if applicable). This will be followed by an email from the courier providing you with your delivery information.

If, after this time, you have still to take receipt of your order please email us providing your order number, name, address, brief details of what you ordered and any shipment number you may have. We strive to answer all queries within one working day, although at busy times we do ask that you bear with us. Please submit your query only once, as repeated emails only serve to slow down our response time and can result in further delays to your order.

Social Distancing or Self-Isolating - what’s the difference?

Social Distancing
  • Social distancing is about significantly limiting face-to-face contact with other people to avoid catching and spreading Coronavirus
  • It’s advised for everyone, even without any symptoms, and is strongly advised if you're over 70, pregnant, or have an underlying health condition.
Self-Isolation
  • Also called staying at home, this is if you, or anyone you live with, either has Coronavirus, or displays symptoms of the virus
  • In this situation you should not be going out or having visitors. For advice on receiving deliveries see below.

Refusing delivery

Please check the condition of all cartons as soon as they are delivered - if the packaging is damaged, please do not sign for the goods and notify us as soon as possible.

If the packaging is in good order, please go ahead and sign for the delivery.

After signing for your items, please check them as soon as possible. If the items are damaged, we have no recourse with the courier unless reported within 24 hours so please check thoroughly once received. In case of any damage, please let us know straight away.

    • Tracking information sent via text and email (if provided). DPD will also confirm a 1 hour delivery time-slot by 11:00 on the day of delivery.

    1 man delivery (TVs and high value items up to 1.19 metres in length).
    • Delivered via BJS home distribution between 07:00 - 21:00.
    • Delivered within 7 working days.
    • Orders dispatch within 5 working days.
    • Once dispatched BJS will contact you to offer a delivery day via email and text (if provided), to confirm you are happy with the delivery day you must either reply YES to the text or confirm by following the link provided on the email.

Delivery exclusions

Please Note:
For smaller/regular sized items (basically everything except larger TVs over 32”) if you live in the Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands or the Isle Of Wight and Isle of Man we regret we are unfortunately unable to provide next day delivery, as our couriers do not offer a next day service to us. We are though happy to provide free 5 working day delivery. If you live in The Channel Islands or Isles of Scilly please call our Telesales department who will happily provide a competitive quote.

For large TVs (over 32”) we are unfortunately unable to provide any delivery options at reasonable cost at this time to the Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands, Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, Isles Of Scilly and Channel Islands. Frustratingly, due to the long distances and low volumes our delivery providers charge as much as twenty or thirty times the cost of regular locations to deliver these larger TVs. We will continue to research options in the hope of improving this currently poor service.
