Versatile amplifier
Featuring a wide range of analogue and digital connectivity, the Leema Quasar makes the perfect hub for your whole system. With no fewer than six digital inputs, plus USB and Bluetooth, the Quasar easily handles all your digital sources. Four analogue inputs include an XLR input for a top quality, ‘pro’ connection.
Power for even the toughest speakers
With 180 watts per channel, it’s little surprise that the Quasar has the grunt to drive just about any pair of speakers. With its high current power supply, there’s always plenty of energy, giving very high volume levels before distorting. The sound also has vice-like grip on the bass, giving exceptional timing and control.
Dual Mono design for superb sound staging
The Dual Mono design means that left and right channels each have their own circuit path. This reduces distortion between the channels, meaning you get a clearer and broader soundstage.
Unique DAC configuration
The Quasar deploys Leema’s unique Quattro Infinity DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor). It employs multiple DACs, all driven from a fully balanced data stream. What this means for the sound is that you get incredibly low levels of distortion, giving an intensely realistic sound.
Wide range of connections
With no fewer than six digital and four analogue inputs, it’s unlikely that you’ll run out of source inputs. Should you want to upgrade to an even more powerful power at a later stage, the pre-amp output lets you use the Quasar as a pre-amp only. At the front, there’s a headphone socket for private listening.
Balanced input for reference sound
Along with the wide range of RCA phono inputs, the Quasar features balanced XLR inputs. Matched to a compatible source, these give the ultimate connection with the highest level of resistance to electrical interference.
Stream your music
Featuring UPnP (Universal Plug ‘n Play) streaming module, the Quasar is ideal for streaming music – via Ethernet or wi-fi. Compatible with Hi-Res music files up to 24-bit/192kHz, it’s another high quality music source option. It also supports popular music services, such as TIDAL, Spotify, Qobuz and Internet Radio stations. For a quick and easy link, apt-X capable Bluetooth is also standard.
