For the ultimate in colour and accuracy, the LG OLED65B16LA features SELF-LIT OLED pixels.

SELF-LIT OLED – the ultimate picture technology
Rather than using a backlight, OLED TVs feature self-illuminating pixels. This SELF-LIT technology means that you get 100% colour fidelity, infinite contrast with the deepest depth and stunning detail.

Power at its core – Alpha 7 Gen 4 processor
This LG 65 inch TV uses a new, more powerful processor for optimised sound and vision. The Alpha 7 Gen 4 processor features deep-learning algorithms that analyse and then optimise content. Whether you’re watching a movie or sport, TV or gaming, the processor adapts the sound and vison, automatically.

Ultimate detail - Dolby Vision IQ
For ultimate detail, in all environments, this LG OLED features Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ version uses data within the signal and light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is. Whether you’re watching a brightly lit sports event or moody movie, Dolby Vision IQ adjusts to suit.

HDR made better, with HDR10 Pro
LG’s powerful processing also helps in getting the very best from HDR10 material. Whether watching movies or gaming with HDR10 games, HDR10 Pro intensifies the regular HDR experience. HDR10 Pro automatically adjusts the brightness, enhancing colour and detail for a more vivid picture.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

Game Optimiser with HFR, VRR and ALLM for a gaming advantage
Game Optimiser utilises a dedicated gaming menu, letting you select and control specific gaming features, such as Reduce Blue Light, Prevent Input Delay, VRR and AMD FreeSync. Equipped with an HDMI 2.1 interface, this LG TV gets the very best from your choice of gaming source. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG 65” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in 2.2 speaker set-up and a 40 watt amp, the OLED65B16LA delivers a smooth, well-balanced sound.

Welcome home - LG webOS 6 for the best in smart TV
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system just keeps getting better. The latest webOS 6 uses your viewing history to recommend a range of shows and movies from across various apps. An improved home page offers improved graphics, with dedicated info and search boxes.

Magic Remote made better
LG’s Magic Remote has always led the field for simple, gesture and voice control. The latest version retains this, while offering direct keys for popular streaming services and a new, cleaner style. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + and Rakuten TV are all now just the touch of a button away. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa also get dedicated buttons for simply voice recognition.

The hub of your home entertainment
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.

Watch movies, TV and game with the best; the LG OLED65B16LA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Treat yourself, buy one!! Well, after two years of hard negotiation with my darling wife who was so afraid of a 65" TV dominating the living room, we've had our new TV for 3 weeks now and both of us are delighted with it. It replaced a 50" quality Panasonic plasma TV and with it having a bezel just millimetres wide it hardly looks any bigger in the corner of the room, just need to buy a nicer stand now! The picture is superb, I'll leave it to more knowledgeable people than myself to talk about its technical abilities but from a general user point of view all I can say is that it's just right, the clarity is superb and now my aging eyes can see how many minutes have been played when watching football or similar. We went for the B16 for a combination of good mid range price and the size and design of the base which gives good support and steadiness to the TV on the stand. The telesales lad I dealt with, J in Edinburgh, was excellent, and the two man delivery team were excellent in every respect. Wondering now if it's worth spending another couple of years negotiating with her to try and upgrade to a 75" screen .... perhaps best not!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great TV from LG Bought in December and received middle of January Great looking TV with a fantastic picture and good sound even at low volume. Not as many features and settings as I thought there would be but other than that I can’t fault it.. If mounting on a wall you will need two people as it is heavy..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED TV [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had received our amazing LG Tv some days before Christmas, we wrapped up and....then we decide to unwrapped...haha...we couldn't wait until the 25th, instead, we open it and watch our first movie that same night. The colors and the sound are really good. Our children love the new TV especially to play together splitting the huge screen. It was very easy to make all the connections and we have the LG app on our mobile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still a lot to learn [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There wasn't actually anything g wrong with my old TV orher that that it was about 15 years old! Nevertheless, when the opportunity to get a brand new OLED TV came up I couldn't resist. The technology is light years of a difference from my old TV. I've had it for a month now and still haven't quite mastered the picture settings. Quite intense it has a kind of Americsn soap opera fake look where it smooths everything and just doesn't look right but I'll get there eventually! The picture is so vivid compared to my old TV and the sound us great once you get used to the levels (similar to the picture issue!) One thing I do have to point out is that the round button on the remote control can be tricky to use if you have long nails! Not a disaster though. Really great TV for the price and I would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent TV [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has been living with no TV for a couple of years, so we were extremely interested to try LG TV. I've read a lot of positive reviews and it seemed like a great TV to have. Needless to say that I was not disappointed at all! The picture is very clear and bright and the sound quality is amazing, it's very easy to operate and I'm absolutely loving it! It fit perfectly on the wall and does not take much space due to being flat. Now it's hard to imagine how we used to live without it. There is nothing I don't like about this TV and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new TV!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing picture, not so amazing OS Firstly I will say I am happy with this TV. Ultimately I bought it for the picture quality, and in that regard it excels. Nothing beats the contrast you get with an OLED. However my biggest issue with this TV is WebOS is frankly bad. The home page is absolutely full of useless information and adverts, and it slows everything down. There are way to block this that I won't go into here, but you shouldn't have to do this on an expensive TV just to make it usable. It's generally poorly designed in my opinion. I also am not a fan of the remote, its a bit bulky and doesn't feel as nice in the hand and to use than my Samsung (and where is the play/pause button?). Even with these flaws, this is still the best value way to get an OLED right now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best OLED for your money. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to buy a new TV after the backlight of my last one died. I did my research, established which features I was looking for at my price range and settled on the new LG OLED range. The quality difference between this and my failed TV is impressive to say the least. I opted for the B1 model over the C1 as I assumed I wouldn’t need more than 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, as that’s the main difference – and I can always buy a HDMI switch later. It’s the first true smart TV I’ve owned, and although WebOS is serviceable, Android would have been preferable for its range of apps. The narrow bezel is excellent, and the shallow profile helps keep it close to the wall where I’ve mounted it, although the screen is scarily thin, and the ports have some give when plugging cables in. Annoyingly the power cable is wired in and quite short, which I didn’t fancy rewiring. Since then, I’ve put it through its paces – watching 4K HDR content via streaming services as well as BluRays, and I managed to snag an Xbox Series X which this is fully compatible with (Full 4K/120Hz/VRR/HFR/etc.). Absolutely incredible colour, detail, and clarity. In bright scenes can be gloriously blinding, while all detail can be seen in shadowy scenes. In terms of audio, you’re never going to end up with fantastic quality in such a small body, to which I ended up buying an LG soundbar as I planned to do anyway. The included controller is great - microphone to search for content across apps is super convenient. My only issue would be it doesn't automatically detect new DLNA devices, so if trying to stream from laptop you'll need to turn TV off and on. Final remark – The best OLED for your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED! Wow! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the LG B1 55inch OLED TV and have been using it everyday for the last few months now, and so far it’s been the best purchase of the year! Our last TV was a HD ready LG TV so we were due an update, we loved the brand LG and were keen to try out the OLED technology. The picture quality is incredible, particularly alongside Disney + channels which are ultra HD ready. National demographic documentaries in particular are absolutely magnificent to watch as the detail is exceptional. My husband is an XBOX gamer and has also stated that his Xbox series X game quality is significantly better. The apps are easily navigated, and the remote control has a scroll ball and voice recognition which is really easy to use. The remote also has buttons for apps such as Netflix and Disney + which is very handy for our house hold! The TV looks beautiful in our living room, and we have already recommended it to many of our friends and family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent television [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Apart from having to wait a long while for the delivery of the television, I think it was worth the wait, the picture quality is amazing especially when gaming, I noticed it keeps up with the game and since buying an 8k wire, it is a brilliant experience when gaming. The sound could be better as I have to change the sound to what I am viewing otherwise I sometimes struggle to hear it. The screen cleaning it is programmed to do, is completed in 5 minutes and makes the screen look better after, the set up was easy to complete with my smart phone and when you plug in a hdmi wire, it automatically picks up what has been plugged in and names it as well, the shortcut buttons make life easier to find what you need. All in all, I would definitely recommend this tv to family and friends for an all round viewing experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by how soon the television was as soon as I unpacked it. The television was very easy to set up and I really liked the fact that the remote has shortcut buttons to popular programs such as Netflix and Disney+. It was also very easy to connect and no work with my skybox. The picture quality is excellent and is great for watching both television and film. The television was easily mounted onto the wall with a universal bracket however the stand it comes with a somewhat flimsy. So far I am very happy with the television I’ve only had it set up for a few days but can really notice the upgrade in picture quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If someone is looking for a TV with excellent value for money, he may take it blind! The TV is made of poor quality materials, but something had to be cut. Fortunately, it is not visible from a distance. If you're not going to cuddle or pet him, you won't be disappointed. Minimalist design, looks decent. The sound quality is decent, the picture is very good for an ordinary LED. I was surprised by the extremely fast channel switching and running applications, e.g. netflix. I had to install HBO myself and it took a while to figure out how to do it, but I did it and everything flashes nice. I miss a button on the remote control that would switch me to the downloaded applications mode ... at least for now I haven't got it where it is. I recommend the GAME image mode. Best for everyday viewing in my opinion. The bluetooth function is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watching experience [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG OLED 55 inch TV is the perfect size for my apartment, for 1-2 people watching. Setup process was quick and easy, the TV can easily be setup from your mobile and did not take long at all. The picture quality is great, especially for 4k movies/shows, however you will have to do a bit of testing with the settings to find the optimal picture/sound quality. The colors are vibrant, and this TV has easily replaced the experience of going to the movies. The pre installed apps make it so easy to stream from different services, as well as adding in apps like YouTube which you can connect directly from your phone. With the LG offered warranty, I feel like this is a TV that will last for a long time. I find all applications and settings easy to navigate. Being able to connect phone & PC is definitely a huge bonus, this TV works for all my needs. I do not watch regular cable TV, so this smart TV does exactly what I need it to do - streaming from streaming services, web browser & mobile apps. Overall very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this TV to others!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using the new TV model OLED55B16LA LG B1 55 inch Smart OLED TV for the last few weeks and must say it's brilliant. First the look and set up is superb, easy to set up with enough hdmi / usb ports as required. Easy to reach and connect all the leads and set up programming install was easy too. The stand on the tv instead of feet means you do not have to buy a new stand for it to sit on after purchase. The picture quality is superb but you do require decent program supply to benefit such as UHD streaming, remember most tv channels only have at best HD. The A1 sound system is superb for watching movies and box sets that have high action scenes, it seems to have a built in sound bar that surrounds you with sound leaving you without having to purchase a sound bar system. This feature is easily turned off and on in settings. The remote control acts as a pointer on the TV screen, so point the remote on the apps page at the app you want to open and press the scroll button to select. Can be annoying as very sensitive but once you get used to it becomes easier to use. The down side to this TV which I find hugely annoying is every time you turn on the TV, the screen fills with trending programs and subscription TV applications as well as LG themselves trying to get you to subscribe to their own TV app, this is disappointing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV - with great sound and picture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THe LG is far superior to my other Tv that cost the same as the LG yet the picture on the LG is mark better with darker blacks and brighter colours. The sound is also amazing and does not need a separate soundbar. The thin screen is great and have on the stand that comes with it at the moment but if put on a wall it would look great with being so thin would not come out much at all. The tv has everything you would need in the apps all the main youtube, Netflx, Amazon prime. Disney etc and the remote is easy to use and has the option to use as a pointer to more the curser on screen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG B1 55 inch 4K Perfect TV [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good TV, easy to set up and lots of control of the picture setting, all the apps you could want too. Has short cut buttons to Netflix Amazon Prime and Disney on the remote, making life much easier to get to your favourite App much quicker and no searching for it. and Love Filmmaker mode for most nature colours and realistic picture, just adjust your brightness to your room.  Comes well packed and easy to unbox, best to have a friend to help lift it out though. Remote is lovely to use and has a nice weight, feels like a quality piece of equipment. Like the wand element of it and how quick it is, Has HDMI 2.1 for your games too. I love how it looks too, very sexy piece of kit, also has a picture mode so it looks like a piece of art hanging in your living room. I defiantly recommend this to other people to buy as quality bit of kit for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing TV [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far one of the best TVs that you can get not only for movies and watching TV shows but for gaming too. I am a gamer and this TV has everything that you need for the next generation of consoles. HDMI 2.1 variable refresh rates list goes on. Plus you have Dolby Atmos and Dolby vision for gaming on Xbox. The picture quality is amazing the black levels cannot be beaten. Plus you can get 4K 120hz. I like the new remote which is an upgrade from the previous years older remote you will not find a better TV at this price point. If you considering buying this TV and you're not sure, I would really suggest you buy it because once you see the picture for yourself you'll understand that it was money well spent. You get so much for your money LG have done an amazing job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG 55B1 is amazing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely brilliant bit of kit, contrast is perfect regardless of ambient light, picture is incredible crisp and clear and colours are bold and vivid. Sound is amazing although you do need to play with the settings a little to get it perfect (Disney+ is notorious for cross-codex issues whcih can be problematic on this TV if you keep it "standard") I thought my PS5 on a 4k projector was amazing until I plugged it into this, the 120 refresh rate makes a massive difference and really shows the power of both the PS and the TV. The app system is idiot-proof and really quick and there's a huge choice of third party apps to add on (although a lot of them are pretty rubbish) honestly a stellar TV and the difference between OLED and LED is pretty noticeable, my only "negative" is that despite the great features I'm still not totally convinced the standard retail price is worth paying over a very top-end LED version. Having said that at the price paid for this model I can't give it any less that 5/5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great OLED with HDMI 2.1 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG B1 OLED is an excellent TV overall. It performs best for watching movies in dark rooms because the benefits of having a OLED is the pure blacks you generate.. It's brilliant for gaming too as it has VRR support, HDMI 2.1 inputs, and a very low response time. It's also great for watching TV shows on Sky Q too not only 2660p but also 1080p and also 720p. The smart apps on the TV and the OS is one of the best around, simple and effective to use. LG uses Dolby Vision as its HDR content and it works well. Dolby Sound doesn't massively do much for the TV but its better to add a sound bar. Overall for the money its worth every penny if your in the market for a OLED. The only disadvantage to the more premier models is that you do not have the 5 year burn in warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG OLED 55" Tv [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really pleased to receive my TV and worth the wait. I have had plasma and led tvs in the past, and wondered if the OLED lived up to the hype, it did! Convinced by my son, who already has a LG OLED, said to go for it, and I’m so glad I did. When unpacking I couldn’t believe how thin the screen was, and was ultra careful when putting it onto the wall. The set up was really easy, it automatically found all of the peripherals that were plugged in to it. Switched it on and wow, the picture is fantastic and especially on 4K!! With the size of these tvs, I was slightly worried about the sound quality, but I have no complaints. May eventually get a sound bar to give a greater depth to the sound, but does not affect my viewing pleasure at all. I love the Magic Remote, which is easy and also using the voice assist. I’m impressed by the number of HDMI ports. With my older tv it only had one or two The colours are so vivid with the blacks being so black, if that makes sense! It is very quick when moving channels, or going from Netflix to Virgin Media. Looking for the 4K 2160 films and documentary’s to get the full viewing effect. Overall, I’m delighted with it. So much so, I showed to my best mate, and he is away looking at one now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning picture quality, absolutely amazing!!!!!! Absolutely stunning picture quality. Worth every penny. Even the upscaled (new) SD programs are sharp & crisp and appear as good as the HD programs on our old TV. This 65" TV is actually physically smaller than our old 60" TV. You just can't beat the OLED panel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV Great TV with outstanding picture colours. Good inbuilt app features and an easy to use remote. Sounds is also pretty good considering most thin TVs have poor sound quality. 1 star removed as it is not really designed well if you plan to hang the TV on the wall. Poor cable management options and the speaker on the back means it hangs too far from the wall.
