For the ultimate in colour and accuracy, the LG OLED65B16LA features SELF-LIT OLED pixels.

SELF-LIT OLED – the ultimate picture technology
Rather than using a backlight, OLED TVs feature self-illuminating pixels. This SELF-LIT technology means that you get 100% colour fidelity, infinite contrast with the deepest depth and stunning detail.

Power at its core – Alpha 7 Gen 4 processor
This LG 65 inch TV uses a new, more powerful processor for optimised sound and vision. The Alpha 7 Gen 4 processor features deep-learning algorithms that analyse and then optimise content. Whether you’re watching a movie or sport, TV or gaming, the processor adapts the sound and vison, automatically.

Ultimate detail - Dolby Vision IQ
For ultimate detail, in all environments, this LG OLED features Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ version uses data within the signal and light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is. Whether you’re watching a brightly lit sports event or moody movie, Dolby Vision IQ adjusts to suit.

HDR made better, with HDR10 Pro
LG’s powerful processing also helps in getting the very best from HDR10 material. Whether watching movies or gaming with HDR10 games, HDR10 Pro intensifies the regular HDR experience. HDR10 Pro automatically adjusts the brightness, enhancing colour and detail for a more vivid picture.

See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

Game Optimiser with HFR, VRR and ALLM for a gaming advantage
Game Optimiser utilises a dedicated gaming menu, letting you select and control specific gaming features, such as Reduce Blue Light, Prevent Input Delay, VRR and AMD FreeSync. Equipped with an HDMI 2.1 interface, this LG TV gets the very best from your choice of gaming source. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.

Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG 65” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in 2.2 speaker set-up and a 40 watt amp, the OLED65B16LA delivers a smooth, well-balanced sound.

Welcome home - LG webOS 6 for the best in smart TV
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system just keeps getting better. The latest webOS 6 uses your viewing history to recommend a range of shows and movies from across various apps. An improved home page offers improved graphics, with dedicated info and search boxes.

Magic Remote made better
LG’s Magic Remote has always led the field for simple, gesture and voice control. The latest version retains this, while offering direct keys for popular streaming services and a new, cleaner style. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + and Rakuten TV are all now just the touch of a button away. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa also get dedicated buttons for simply voice recognition.

The hub of your home entertainment
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.

Watch movies, TV and game with the best; the LG OLED65B16LA.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pictures, nightmare menus The pictures that this is capable of are very good, even the built in sound is not too bad. However the menu system for setting up the pictures us overly complicated. It has settings for every input in all 8+ modes so that's at least 24 sets of settings. However if you can force it to stick to one or two modes and use save to all inputs it's not too bad. Fortunately I knew this before I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV This is the 2nd LG TV we have purchased from Richersounds. The process has been excellent and the bonus of having a 6 year guarantee clinches the deal. The picture and sound quality of this TV is exceptional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good tv [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG B1 OLED is an excellent TV overall. It performs best for watching movies in dark rooms because it has a near-infinite contrast ratio with perfect blacks. It's fantastic for gaming as it has VRR support, HDMI 2.1 inputs, and a near-instantaneous response time. It's also great for watching TV shows in a wide seating arrangement, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. However, it risks permanent burn-in, which could be an issue if you constantly watch the same channel with static elements. The LG B1 OLED is excellent for watching HDR movies. It's fantastic for watching movies in dark rooms because it displays perfect blacks with no blooming around bright objects. It has incredible gradient handling and displays a wide color gamut for HDR content. Unfortunately, its HDR brightness is just okay, and some highlights may not pop the way the creator intended. The LG B1 is outstanding for watching movies in dark rooms. It displays perfect blacks thanks to the near-infinite contrast, and it has perfect black uniformity too. It doesn't have any issues upscaling lower-resolution content like from Blu-rays, and it removes 24p judder from any source, which is great for watching movies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this TV. It was so easy and easy to set up all the apps that we use. The sound is amazing, which is really good as I do not have a space for a sound bar or anything, but there is no need for it with this TV. The colours are amazing… The light does not reflect on it which has been great as we hang our TVs on a wall and the window reflects on it during the day, but you can now see everything clearly, even the darkest colours and shows. I am very happy with it and the fact that we got it before Christmas. It is the best gift to us and it has been so nice to watch Christmas movies in this good picture and sound quality. I have definitely recommended and will recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality TV, it will most definitely not dissapoint!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture and Amazing for Gaming [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second OLED TV purchase in the household, the jump in technology is outstanding. Firstly the panel on this screen is amazing, I have it hooked up to my Virgin TV box and the HD image looks crisper than before. I thought 55 inches would be too big however the bezels are so thin, they are not intrusive. The biggest bonus is the HDMI 2.1 and I've hooked my PS5 up to the TV. I started laughing with the first game at 120FPS, I said to myself "I wasn't playing Playstation before this TV". Honestly is a game-changer for me, with the addition of HDR everything comes to life in such an amazing way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG OLED 55B1 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so great. The picture quality is immense, superb detail, black blacks and rich colours bursting to life. The sound is pretty good too, although I have it hooked up to a surround sound system, which is better, the TV speakers alone are more than adequate for most. My wife had a little panic when the box arrived as I said it wasn't that big. I didn't tell her in which dimension....this is the thinnest TV I've ever seen. Still learning as I go along, and haven't had time to play with all the features yet, but 5 stars so far. Already salivating at the prospect of movie night this weekend.....but what to watch?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture & functions on this TV [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having spent quite a while researching TV’s I decided I wanted an OLED tv. One of my customers actually has an older version of this TV and I’ve always been thoroughly impressed with the screen quality and the thin-ness of the display. After unpacking the TV and very carefully adding the stand I set the TV up - all very quick and easy following the on screen prompts. Connected to my wifi immediately and found several channels just using my cheap HD window aerial. As I’ve been using this TV I keep finding more features - I’ve connected it to my Alexa - which again was very simple and now I can be beyond lazy and turn it on/off, change the channel and volume simply by voice (it has an Alexa button as well as syncing to my existing Alexa). Simple things like this really please me when I can’t find the remote! Downloaded the LG app and connected to my iPhone - again quick and easy with no connection issues. Pre-loaded apps on the tv included everything you’d expect - they load quickly and all run without delays - this was a particularly important feature for me as I’ve used cheaper TV’s where the lag and loading time is incredibly poor which becomes very frustrating. Picture quality is outstanding - I can’t really say more than that! I hooked up my old DVD player and played an old DVD and was thoroughly impressed that it was still brilliant despite the fact it wasn’t even a Blu-ray Disc. Having never spent this amount of money on a TV before I’m blown away - it’s definitely an investment but well worth it. I’ve now wall mounted this TV with a full motion mount. The guys installing the wall mount were really impressed with the tv and now it’s safely on the wall I’m really (really) pleased. It was slightly too wobbly on the stand for my liking ( something to consider if you have pets or children) but now it’s rock solid! I keep finding new features as I investigate the TV menus and apps but am very happy with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L.G. FANTASTIC [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i read a few reviews about the l.g.4k self-lit oled t.v. and all of them spoke about how good the picture quality is which i totally agree . but i was very surprised on how good the sound is you can really hear everything as if thought you are really there in real life. i also like that it has so much already installed from apps such as Facebook, messenger, goggle, amazon along with sky, apple t.v. prime, Netflix and rokun t.v. there is so much stuff on it . the set up is very easy to follow and it only takes a few minutes to have it all done. i would highly recommend buying this t.v.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my LG OLED television last week and we have, at last, had time to try it. It was quite easy to set up, considering that we aren’t very tech experienced, you just switch it on and follow the on screen instructions. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is very good too on most channels, but we will probably invest in a sound bar at some stage to get the full effect. I thought a 55inch television might be too big but now it’s in place it looks as if it’s always been there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for uhd sources Bought the tv to replace a 5 year old high end Panasonic lcd. This was to replace my youview box and nvidia shield as it has all of the apps I need. Sound and picture required some tuning. Sound is great now and picture quality great from apps, however pq from the built in tuners (sat and freeview ) is a car crash. No matter what settings I use the pq is horrendous (wasn’t expecting much) hd broadcasts not much better. Picture is muddy and blurred, any attempt to sharpen just makes everything look too sharp. Plugged in my bt youview box and pq was much better. I can only think that the tuners in this lg set aren’t very good. Bt box is using standard out of the box settings and looks good. Full reset on the tv to make sure I’d not set anything wrong…. But no built in tuners still look awful, bt box good. In summary wish I had looked at this a bit deep in a store. It’s not a complete loss as I still have my bt box but not the outcome I was looking for. So for anyone looking for a neat no external device solution for uk broadcast content…. I’d say walk away… unless lg can do some sort of firmware update. And to lg…. I suggest you go out and get a bt uhd box to see what people expect from broadcast pq in the uk (I know freeview quality is shocking but some devices do a better job than others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture Bought this three weeks ago, this is my first LG tv, usually buy Samsung but was told this has a better picture quality, also plenty of features, magic remote get a bit of getting used to and going to the channel menu could be quicker as it comes up with what’s on now and you have to go to full menu to get that up, overall a great tv the now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No BT Sport support via Browser TV seems very good - however, was told by LG that whilst there is yet to be a BT Sport appn, the option to login via the TVs browser and watch BT Sport this way would be an option, it is not as BT does not currently support. What is the latest on LG developing the. BT Sport Appn pls? BT help forum said it was to be ready for the start of the current football season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 mins I do think that a warning should be given if the customer installs the TV themselves. It is difficult to ensure the glass section is supported when fitting the stand. Also, You need at least 2 fit people to pick up and place the TV where you want it, bearing in mind you must NOT pick it up by the Glass section. A maual would also be helpful for people who have no idea how a Smart TV operates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazed by the tech! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I’m amazed. The picture is amazing and to have all streaming services linked in one place, controlled by my phone as well as the magic remote is brilliant. I have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney subscriptions and having these at the click of a button via the magic remote is so convenient. I watched a short animation (Pixar) on Disney and the picture/resolution was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Absolutely amazing. All my on demand and catch up apps are in one place so no more plugging in fire sticks/Apple TV box or switching to my iPad to watch things. It’s made watching TV a much better experience in such a short space of time and now I’ve had HDR I can’t go back. My new Sky Ultra Hd box has now arrived too and makes even more of a difference with HDR channel availability. Watching the olympics and now the football has been absolutely amazing with my OLED. By the way, Reece Witherspoon, if you’re reading this I’m really sorry for the unflattering photo but it really does show the amazing picture/definition.
