Supplied with rear speakers as standard, the LG SN11RG effortlessly surrounds you in sound. Please Do Not Buy This - Major Issues
Please save yourself a lot of grief and avoid this soundbar.
The sound itself isn't bad, although the Atmos channels were virtually non-existent in my experience.
The major problems are the un-publicised ones.
In order to setup this up, you are required to create a Google Home account, there's no other way to do it, must be set up via the Google Home app.
MOST importantly, LG pushes out updates to this soundbar, you have no control over when they're applied (aside from disabling wifi). These updates frequently change the sound quality, and recent updates (late 2021) have been bricking the subwoofer. Yes, you read correctly, the updates pushed out by the manufacturer have been rendering the product (or parts of it) completely inoperable. Search online for it, MANY people worldwide experiencing this issue with these updates. The worst part, LG does not acknowledge it, and does not seem interested in doing anything about it. Owners with units just outside warranty are having to replace or repair subwoofers out of pocket. New circuit boards inside the sub are a frequent fix, so the updates are apparently causing catastropic damage to the product, rendering it unusable.
Also, does not pass through Dolby Vision, anyone with ARC (and not eARC), must choose either Dolby Atmos, or Dolby Vision, but not both, by plugging source into either TV or Soundbar.
Lastly, this product has (since some recent update) a habit of creating a completely unsecured WiFi access point, which cannot be disabled. If you also have this unit connected to your WiFi (required to set it up), this COULD effectively be creating an unsecured bridge into your home network. I am sure they will deny it, but frankly, you don't know WHAT it's doing, there's no way to find out from the app, very little information and configurability with this product.
Feature ommissions/quirks are one thing, but sending out updates which brick a working product and then disowning the problem, unforgiveable.

Excellent sound
This unit is excellent quality and very well built. The sound is excellent with good clarity and a very full soundscape. The rear speakers lose their wireless connection occasionally, if the unit is left on for a long period of time, but reconnect if you cycle the power off and on. Overall, this is a superb unit.

Home Cinema sound at its best
The set up which was a doddle to do ( helps if you have a google home account) and a couple of tweaks with placement and sound levels on the requisite LG soundbar app and we're off to the races.
