Pairing the LG SP8YA soundbar with a compatible LG TV offers three advantages. You get harmonious style, single remote control (using the TV’s remote) and access to the TV Sound Mode Share function. This lets the soundbar take advantage of the Alpha 9 processor (fitted to many 2021 LG TVs), to give a clearer, more consistent sound.

Take it to the next level with optional rear speakers
For even greater sonic thrills, optional wireless speakers are available (model number SPK8-S kit). These sync with the soundbar to give you the true sensation of cinema sound. The wireless speakers use a dedicated receiver, meaning there’s no need for wires running from the front to the back of your room.

AI Sound Pro for the perfect sound – whatever the situation
AI Sound Pro gives you the ideal sound balance - whatever you're listening to. LG's unique technology analyses the signal and adjusts the balance to suit. If it senses high vocal levels, for example, then it automatically lowers the bass, making speech programmes, such as the news or commentary, much clearer and more detailed.

Featuring a suite of unique sound modes, the SP8YA delivers the perfect sound for any occasion. Choose between Game, Sport and Cinema modes for the ideal match. Having trouble hearing the dialogue? Whether you use Apple, Google or Alexa systems, you can enjoy seamless integration. With support for Apple AirPlay 2, you can enjoy wireless control within your Apple network.
