Product Information
Much slimmer than most AV receivers, the Marantz Cinema 70s offers true home cinema sound, in style.
Basic cables included!
Half the height
If you like the idea of top quality cinema sound but are put off by the bulk of typical AV receivers, then the Marantz Cinema 70s makes the ideal choice. At just 109mm tall, it's around half the height (or less) of a typical AVR. This not only makes it easier on the eye but also allows it to be slotted in where many other AV receivers simply won't fit. Curved styling, with neat features such as the porthole display simply add to the visual appeal.
All the sound
Slim in size but most definitely 'full fat' in terms of sound, the Cinema 70s lives up to Marantz’s hallmark sonic reputation. Meticulously tuned by Marantz’s Sound Master, the Cinema 70s is equally as happy with a blockbuster soundtrack as it is with a Hi Res music file or even a vinyl record. Pure Direct Mode gives the most detailed and least distorted sound when playing stereo music.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for total immersion
Making the most of the Marantz’s high quality amplifier, this Marantz AVR offers Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Both formats use ceiling or up-firing speakers in a 5.2.2 configuration, for three-dimensional and fully immersive sound. Whether it’s rain falling in a tropical jungle or the intense sound of overhead gunfire, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X put you in the centre of the action.
Extra height, without the speakers
As impressive as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound, it’s not always possible to accommodate the extra speakers. This is where Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS Virtual:X Height Virtualisation come in. Play any Dolby format and enjoy a more immersive sound with virtual height enhancement – using your existing speakers. DTS Virtual:X also creates a more enveloping sound from any DTS codec. Compatible with 2.1, 5.1 or 7.1 speaker configurations, DTS Virtual:X gives the impression of height and immersive sound.
Compatible with 8K and the latest technologies
With six HDMI inputs, the Cinema 70s is ready for the most extensive AV systems. Three of the HDMI inputs and the HDMI output meet the HDMI 2.1 standard, meaning they support 8K, 4K/120Hz signals and more. The Cinema 70s also supports the latest copy protection standard, HDCP 2.3, through all its HDMI sockets.
A gaming advantage
The enhanced HDMI interface makes this slimline Marantz AV receiver ideal for pairing with the latest games consoles. There’s support for 4K/120Hz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), giving you the best resolution and clarity. Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) help eliminate lag and frame tearing, giving you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience.
Wide-ranging HDR support
The Cinema 70s supports a wide range of High Dynamic Range video formats. These include Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. It also supports HDR10+, which enhances picture realism by sending dynamic Meta data to your TV, as well as Dynamic HDR. In short, whatever the format used by the film, game or stream, the Marantz supports it.
Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Internet Radio, Spotify Connect and much more
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity, it's easy to connect all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or wi-fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via TuneIn as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music and more (premium accounts may be required).
Voice control via Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices
For the latest in smart home tech, Marantz have made the Cinema 70s compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri devices. Simply download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app and then just ask Alexa or the Google Assistant to perform basic functions. Using the Apple Home App, Siri voice control from your Apple iOS device brings added functionality over AirPlay 2 – including grouping devices.
HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the Cinema 70s is ready to go as a single 'zone' without any further adaptors.
Upgrade potential - 7.1 output
Although this slimline AVR performs superbly as is, there’s always room for more. With its 7-channel output you can upgrade some or all of the channels with a more powerful, higher quality power amp. Use a stereo power amp for enhanced 2-channel music, or go the whole way and add a 7-channel power amp for scintillating surround sound.
Connect everything from an 8K TV to a turntable
With six HDMI inputs (3x 8K and 3x 4K), the Marantz has you covered for connecting all your HDMI-equipped devices. An optical and coaxial digital input are ideal for connecting older devices or upgrading the sound from a compatible CD/Network player. Three analogue inputs are perfect for hi-fi components, plus there’s a further, dedicated MM phono input for plugging in a turntable.
Enjoy enveloping surround sound, in slimline style, with the Marantz Cinema 70s.
”It's the baby in Q Acoustics’ recently launched Q3000i range, and among the finest speakers you can buy for this money.”– ‘What Hi-Fi’ – 5 Star review.
Improved cabinet for even lower distortion
At the heart of these revised speakers is a much-improved cabinet. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.
Revised drive units
With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cone is light, rigid, and helps give the 3010i’s their punchy, agile sound quality. The tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. With clarity and purity of sound at their heart, the 3010i’s are amongst the most natural-sounding speakers in their class.
Ideal for smaller rooms and home cinema
At a height and depth of just over 25cm, these compact speakers are perfect for a wide range of applications. Ideal for smaller rooms or even desktop systems, the 3010i’s give an impressively full range sound – even without a separate subwoofer. Alternatively, if you’re looking for top quality home cinema sound, the 3010i’s make ideal satellite speakers – especially when combined with the matching sub and centre speakers from the 3000i-Series.
Four finishes to suit your style
With its distinctively designed, rounded cabinets, the 3010i is a stylish speaker. Choose between four different finishes and you can get the look that’s perfect for your home. Choose between Graphite Grey and Carbon Black for a technical look to blend well with your other hi-fi components. Alternatively, Arctic White looks great in modern interiors. Finally, the English Walnut vinyl finish is the ideal complement for both antique and contemporary wooden furniture.
One of the finest small stereo speakers in its class and equally impressive as part of a home cinema system, the Q Acoustics 3010i raises the class standard yet again.

HPE enhanced for a purer sound
Unique to the 3050i model, HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology reduces distortion. Larger speaker cabinets tend to build up pressure in specific areas, causing resonance and cabinet distortion. By equalising the pressure around the cabinet the pressure is reduced, giving a less distorted sound.
Improved cabinet bracing
Working alongside HPE is new P2P bracing. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and further reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.
Revised drive units
With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cones are light, rigid, and helps give the 3050i’s their deep, punchy sound quality. The tweeter units are decoupled from the rest of the cabinet, meaning that the treble isn’t affected by vibration from the bass unit. With power and purity of sound at their heart, the 3050i’s are amongst the most dynamic sounding speakers in their class.
Twin woofers for a big sound with movies or music
The 3050i is a worthy flagship - with twin woofer units the bass depth and dynamics are effortlessly deep and powerful. Despite the exhilarating sound, they’re far from unrefined. Thanks to high quality components and clever design, they still have the same skill with extracting the finer subtleties of music. The big scale sound created by the 3050i’s also makes them ideal as the front speakers in a home cinema set. For a totally cohesive sound, simply add the matching 3000i-Series centre and satellite speakers.

Whether it’s thrill-a-minute action or soothing Classical music, the Q Acoustic 3050i speakers will have you gripped.
If you’re looking for a subwoofer with phat bass, without the fat box, you need look no further than the Q Acoustics 3060S – one of the slimmest subwoofers available.
The subwoofer that’s been on a diet
Unlike most subwoofers, the 3060S doesn’t take the form of a bulky cube. Instead, this super-slim subwoofer is just 150mm wide – making it one of the slimmest subwoofers available. This slim-line style doesn’t just look attractive; it also means the sub can fit places others don’t. Behind a sofa, between a cabinet and sidewall or even wall-mounted – the options are endless.
Punches hard
It might be slim-line in style but the 3060S is full fat when it comes to delivering bass. A dedicated 8” woofer is driven by a 150 watt Class D amp, delivering window-rattling bass when your movie or music demands it. Dropping right down to 35Hz, this sub fills out the low notes that most speakers simply can’t touch.
Sleek style
As well as being slim yet powerful sounding, the 3060S also shows obsessive attention to design detail. All the controls, for example, are hidden behind a magnetic hatch. The cables exit via a downward-facing port, helping to keep the style clean.
