The slim-line tonic
If you like the idea of top quality cinema sound but are put off by the bulk of typical AV receivers, then the Marantz NR1508 is just the tonic. With a height of just 105mm, it's around half the height of many of its rivals. This not only makes it easier on the eye but also allows it to be slotted in where many other AV receivers simply won't fit.

Slim in size but most definitely 'full fat' in terms of sound, the NR1508 doesn't compromise on sound. The Marantz NR1508 is equipped with an advanced 32-bit DSP processing system that supports a wide range of sound formats, including Hi-Res Audio. Discrete, high current power output devices provide a sound that's dynamic, low in distortion and perfectly balanced around all your speakers. The Pure Direct feature aims to give you the cleanest sound quality by bypassing non-essential circuits.

HEOS built-in - for the finest multi-room audio
HEOS multi-room music systems connect together by dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up at one time, ensuring even the largest of homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built-in, the NR1508 is ready to go as a single ‘zone’ without any further adaptors!

Control it all with the HEOS app
Once you’ve set up your HEOS speaker system, you can stream music effortlessly via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS and Android, the app not only lets you stream your stored music but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.

Optimised for 4K UHD and HDR
This slim-line Marantz features support for HDCP 2.2, HDR, Dolby Vision and BT.2020, which means you can play UHD Blu-ray discs and stream UltraHD video. With support for HLG, it’s also compatible with the new broadcasting standard for transmitting the highest quality video images. The HDMI sockets allow 4K pass-through, for hassle free switching and viewing without the receiver needing to be turned on.

High-Resolution audio compatible
As well as offering an intense movie experience, the NR1508 is also compatible with High-Resolution Audio. This offers a sound that's far more natural sounding than standard audio. The Marantz supports a wide range of Hi-Res format files including DSD (2.8/5.6MHz), FLAC, ALAC and WAV. It even supports gapless playback for music free from glitches.

Bluetooth, AirPlay, DLNA and built-in Wi-Fi for the complete networking experience
With both Bluetooth and AirPlay connectivity it's easy to connect up all your smartphones, tablets and compatible lap/desktops and stream music wirelessly. The NR1508 also comes with Wi-Fi, Internet radio and DLNA. Simply connect to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi and access thousands of Internet radio sites via TuneIn as well as subscription services such as Spotify Connect. DLNA compatibility lets you stream from other sources such as your laptop or NAS drive.
