Introduce thunder to soundtracks with twin bass cones
The eight inch, long throw active C-CAM bass gives the Radius 380 a high tech appeal. The seamless, aluminium construction is light and rigid, giving a rapid response to changes in sound. Helping to reinforce the bass still further, a second ABR (Auxcillary Bass Radiator) at the opposite side of the sub uses energy within the cabinet to strengthen the bass. The result is bass to make the room shake from a modestly sized cabinet.
Powerful 200 watt Class-D amp for total control
Keeping the thunderous bass under tight control is a high current Class-D amplifier. With around 200 watts of clean power, it has little trouble in keeping the bass cone under tight control. Bass starts and stops exactly when it should, with none of the wallow and boom that afflicts lesser subs.
Three pre-set EQ modes
With Music, Movie and Impact modes you can easily change the characteristics of the subwoofer to match your mood. For the most subtle sound, choose Music. A more dynamic sound is had with the Movie mode, making it ideal for the most intense action movies. If you're in party mode or really don't like the neighbours, then switch to Impact for the most powerful sound possible!

Excellent products and support from Richer Sounds
I’ve bought a new Samsung Tv with great advice from Richer Sounds in Clifton, Bristol. And the earlier this week, my 23 year sub woofer died, so Richer Sounds to the rescue with a Monitor Audio Radius 380, and what a major improvement to my sound system (all bought from Richer Sounds over the years) !!

Upgrade - what a difference!
I decided to upgrade my old Kef eggs, sub and Denon amp. Piers at the Maidstone branch was extremely helpful. I purchased this sub and the Radius 45,90 and 200 speakers together with a Denon AVRX2600H amp and it has transformed our viewing experience.
I was reluctant to spend so much on the sub seeing as the old Kef seemed to do the trick. Well, the intervening 18 years or so has seen huge improvements. This is so responsive and it feels much more like a cinema experience when the low, deep, booming sounds come through.
I spent more than I had anticipated but I am glad I listened to the advice given. Hopefully this will future proof me for years to come.

Nice bass and rumbles for tv, movies and music!
Bought these to match a monitor audio speaker set. I have placed this towards the back of the room as part of a change of layout for my AV kit as per my wife’s input!
The sub performs very well for the role of 70% tv and movies and 30% music.
I am not a huge authority on subs, but have setup with a Denon amp and tweaked the settings on the amp and the volume on sub to get it to sound how I like.
Bought from the richer sounds store in Bristol as part of a session booked to try out various kit.
Overall very happy with the purchase and the sub.

Modern looking well integrated system
Early days for me having bought this sub as part of a radius package. Very happy so far. As with many domestic settings you don’t want speakers to totally dominate but you also don’t want compromise quality. Radius adds style and quality.

Great but controlled base
Bought this in a follow up to a new centre speaker that was so impressive I really enjoyed the surround sound from my system again but that showed up the poor sub woofer from the old system so having already bought Radius 45s and a Radius 200 I had to rush out and but this beast.
Base now had great depth but is well controlled and the booming base has gone. Really pleased.
