At just 10cm cubed, the Monitor Audio Radius 45 is one of the most discreet bookshelf speakers around. The compact size makes it ideal for a wide range of uses, from desktop speakers, background music in a multi-room set-up to satellite speakers in a surround sound system. A choice of gloss black, satin white or walnut finishes means there's a style to suit your decor.
Flexible positioning
Compact enough to be placed on a mantelpiece, bookshelf, window ledge or desk, the Radius 45 can also be wall-mounted with the optional MASM mounts or stand-mounted via the optional Radius stands.
Spacious sound
The Radius 45 uses an unconventional speaker pattern to give a spacious sound quality. By placing the gold C-CAM tweeter at the rear of the speaker, the sound is dispersed over a much wider range giving the Radius 45 a much more enveloping sound than you'd expect from such a small speaker.
Monitor Audio quality
They may be small, but that doesn't stop the Radius 45s from using top-quality Monitor Audio speaker units. The gold C-CAM tweeter is similar to those used in full-size Monitor Audio speakers and gives a similar ideal balance of smoothness and detail. The main MMP (Metal Matrix Polymer) speaker unit offers a highly realistic mid-range and punchy upper-bass - just add a subwoofer for true bottom end rumble.
