At just 10cm cubed, the Monitor Audio Radius 45 is one of the most discreet speakers around. The compact size makes it ideal for a wide range of uses, from desktop speakers, background music in a multi-room set-up to satellite speakers in a surround sound system. A choice of gloss black, satin white or walnut finishes means there's a style to suit your decor.

Spacious sound
The Radius 45 uses an unconventional speaker pattern to give a spacious sound quality. By placing the gold C-CAM tweeter at the rear of the speaker, the sound is dispersed over a much wider range giving the Radius 45 a much more enveloping sound than you'd expect from such a small speaker.

The gold C-CAM tweeter is similar to those used in full-size Monitor Audio speakers and gives a similar ideal balance of smoothness and detail. The flexible speakerFlexibility is key with the Radius 225. At just 65mm deep it's ideal for wall mounting but can also sit below your TV as a conventional centre speaker. The speaker design also makes it ideal for stereo or surround sound, meaning you can mount three (left, centre and right) by your flatscreen TV and two at the rear for highly discreet surround sound. A dedicated wall bracket is supplied with each speaker.

Introduce thunder to soundtracks with twin bass cones
The eight inch, long throw active C-CAM bass gives the Radius 380 a high tech appeal. The seamless, aluminium construction is light and rigid, giving a rapid response to changes in sound. Helping to reinforce the bass still further, a second ABR (Auxcillary Bass Radiator) at the opposite side of the sub uses energy within the cabinet to strengthen the bass. The result is bass to make the room shake from a modestly sized cabinet.

Powerful 200 watt Class-D amp for total control
Keeping the thunderous bass under tight control is a high current Class-D amplifier. With around 200 watts of clean power, it has little trouble in keeping the bass cone under tight control. Bass starts and stops exactly when it should, with none of the wallow and boom that afflicts lesser subs.

Three pre-set EQ modes
With Music, Movie and Impact modes you can easily change the characteristics of the subwoofer to match your mood. For the most subtle sound, choose Music. A more dynamic sound is had with the Movie mode, making it ideal for the most intense action movies. If you're in party mode or really don't like the neighbours, then switch to Impact for the most powerful sound possible!
