Controlled Performance for optimal sound and isolation The Monitor Audio W2M-CP is fitted with a fully-sealed back box for Controlled Performance (CP). Fitting a back box increases the mounting depth so won’t suit all installations but it does optimise the sound quality and help isolate the speaker’s sound from interlinked rooms. The back box is designed to provide the ideal air load, giving a consistent mid-range and bass level, whatever the wall construction. It also reduces sound from the rear of the speaker by around 30dB, making it ideal for isolating the sound from the room next door.
Premium quality in-wall speaker The Monitor Audio W2M-CP is a premium quality in-wall speaker that’s suitable for a wide variety of installations. Featuring a 3-way speaker system, with RST II units, you get the perfect combination of precise, room-filling sound with discreet aesthetics. Use in stereo mode, either side of a TV for greatly enhanced TV audio. Alternatively, when used with a subwoofer, the W2M-CP speakers are ideal for high quality, home cinema sound.
