Designed for breath-taking performance
Ideal for larger rooms and dynamic music and movies, the Monitor Audio Silver 300 leave a lasting impression. The three-way design means there's a separate unit dedicated to midrange frequencies - typically vocals. With twin drivers left to get on with the job of producing bass, this is a genuine full-range speaker that doesn't require the services of a separate subwoofer to get to the bottom of the music.
The best drive units – improved
Featuring a completely new version of Monitor Audio’s iconic gold tweeter dome, the treble response is better than ever. Tuned for a crisp, low distortion sound, the top-end is sweeter than ever. The 6" bass cones and 4" mid-range units feature distinctive RST (Rigid Surface Technology). Inspired by the Japanese art of Origami, the lightweight cones are made more rigid by the precise pattern of surface dimples. It makes the mid-range open and natural-sounding.
With technology from the Platinum series
Evolved from the reference quality Platinum models, the Silver 300 features DCF (Dynamic Coupling Filter). This replaces the usual, solid coupling of driver and voice coil with a flexible coupling. This helps damp any surplus energy, aiding the precison of sound. The perforated design also helps with cooling and pressure relief – giving enhanced efficiency.
Cabinets designed with help from the National Physical Laboratory
Designed with the aid of a precision laser scanner from NPL (National Physical Laboratory), the handcrafted cabinets are exceptionally well built. The scanner identified areas of cabinet resonance making the placement of the bracing pin-point accurate. Ultra-low cabinet distortion lets the drive units perform unimpeded, giving you the clearest and most natural sound going.

A Happy 50th Birthday surprise!
Having a 50th Birthday in lockdown was not filling me me with a great deal of excitement, that was until my Wife drove me to Richer sounds in Bath to pick up my surprise, a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 300’s and an audio technica turntable. Now my Wife has no real interest in here and would be the first to admit she knows nothing about such things, but with the help of Fred and at the Bath branch she managed to explain my current set up and what I wanted, Fred helpfully filled in the blanks with his recommendations and made my wife feel confident that all could be returned and exchanged if it was not what I wanted or if I didn’t like them after trying them. Well I am glad for their assistance as I am now a very happy owner of some superb sounding speakers, the clarity and separation of individual instruments is really impressive. Powered off my Denon avx-2700h they are delivering a great sound, especially now having had them for a couple of weeks. They have also slotted in nicely with my Kef KHT 3005se’s center and surround speakers. Movies sound amazing a big upgrade. On top of this, the quality in the build is superb, they look and feel like they should cost a lot more with the veneer cabinets. I would definitely recommend these and as a multiple returning customer to Richer Sounds Bath I would also undoubtedly recommend them. Thank you guys. Just need to convince the Wife I need the matching center speaker ;)

Superb Sound Quality
I bought these as an upgrade to MA Bronze speakers and the Silver 300s are a big step up in sound quality across the entire frequency response. The 3 way design really does help with the audio reproduction and keeping everything very clear. Clarity and quality, as well as quantity, of bass is excellent too. The finish on the speakers themselves are very high quality and the speakers feel extremely solid - the wood grain makes it fit in very well amongst the other furniture. Highly recommend these even if slightly over the planned budget - the quality long term is worth it.

Superb bass and treble
Bought these as they had a lower bass frequency then most other speakers in this price range. They are not cheap but when you open the box you can certainly see what you've paid for. They look fantastic and the build quality is exceptional. I have them in a room that is twelve feet by ten feet with a bay at the end that holds a two seater sofa, so a bit small for what is recommended.
I've set them quite close to the walls and tilted them in forty five degrees and this gives the best soundstage. They come with baffles that you can put in the ports which I have put in as this controls the bass. This is recommended in the manual if you cannot set as recommended and work really well. There is no loss of bass frequency depth but it tightens it up well.
The speakers are still running in with about 20 hours use so far but I am very impressed. They sound natural and defined and I cannot imagine anything sounding better.

Quality Speakers
I read the reviews and decided to purchase a new set up for my kitchen extension. The sound quality and depth is just incredible, they have taken sound to a new level for me. Richer Sounds recommendation of quality speaker wire as well has no doubt improved sound. I am yet to turn them up!

Fantastic sound, good looking speakers
I bought these speakers 6-weeks ago and they are a great addition to my home theatre and HiFi system. Very good build and sound quality and a definite step up from my Wharfedale Diamond 155s. Many thanks to the guys at Richer Sounds for their fantastic service and great deal. Can't fault you

The blinkers came off my Ears
The unit was straightforward to set up, thanks to a clear-to-follow manual. Some effort was needed to link to other Cyrus devices.
The outcome was immediately noted by my auditory system. The old scales fell from my ears and the depth and quality of sounds emerged into a newer, level of sound experience.
The pre-release help from Dave (at Glasgow store) set things on the set-up path, including this new banana plugs.
