Great sounding, but be aware of the size!
We needed a 7.1 set of speakers after moving house. These seemed an ideal solution as the left and right high speakers are combined with the front speakers, meaning less set up and drilling in our new front room - however they do still need separate front and high speaker cables to connect to the AV receiver.
The speakers are crisp and clear with music even at higher volumes and the upwards pointing front high speakers give a surprisingly good surround effect with movies.The sub is still able to add subtle bass at lower volumes.
Just be aware how large the front speakers are. Even though we had checked the dimensions, the speakers - even the center - were still surprisingly bulky once mounted, but they shouldn't look too out of place alongside a larger screen.
The in store service from the Newcastle branch was excellent as usual.

Crisp sound, Great Base
I recently purchased this after waiting 4 months for it come back in stock and I’m glad to say it was definitely worth the wait. Absolutely amazing surround system from Onkyo. Replaced a 20 year old Sony system which was getting a bit tired. Everyone that has heard it has said how great it sounds and how it’s just like being in the cinema. I was very impressed with how crisp the sound quality was and how well it deals with high and low bass frequencies. Watching films you’ve watched before you hear things you never knew were there before so it’s like watching something different 10/10!!!

Great value, easy to setup and good sound
Without doubt superb value, well packaged and very easy to setup. The sub is very good and easily shakes my floorboards, not yet experienced anything that seems to utilise the front fill speakers and I think the overall sound is maybe a little high but I am sure experimenting with my amplifier will counter that.

Amazing sound!
I bought this a few weeks ago, I was looking to pair the speakers with the Onkyo Amp, but they didn't have it in stock so the guy in the store looked at all the options and came up with the Denon AVR-X2400H which is a better amp than I was originally looking at, including WiFi and more HDMI ports at the back, and once I set it up using the easy to follow on screen guide, I was amazed at the sound quality! The Dolby Atmos is tremendous, it really does make it feel like the sound is all around! I have it hooked up to my Xbox One which has Dolby Atmos output and it makes such a difference!
I'd had my previous Sony All in One DVD surround sound system for about 15 years so it was started to feel it's age, this thing is a massive upgrade! Although the speakers are so much bigger than my old Sony ones, I've had to buy some stands to put the front ones on!
I watched the movie IT with the Dolby Atmos soundtrack and it really felt like the sound was everywhere in my room!
Would definitely recommend this system to anyone who is looking for a reasonable priced system with a great sound!

Fantastic set of speakers. Great for Dolby Atmos.
I bought these to pair with a Denon AVR 3400H receiver. WOW, the sound is awesome. I have Sky Q hooked up to my setup and I get Dolby Atmos audio for the football and it's out of this world.

Great sound. Great Price.
Quite a big upgrade from some old Yamaha 5.1 speakers and I noticed the difference straight away. Films with Dolby Atmos sound really good, plenty of power there if and when you need it. They sound very good if you're listening to music too, although you need to mess around with your amp to get the best settings for that.

Great Uograde.
I bought the Onkyo package to upgrade from an orbitsound sound bar.
The package is easy to set up using the Audyssey in my Denon AV amp.
The speakers sound good at low volumes but really come alive just at the point that my wife tells me to turn it down. I've watched a few action movies when she's been out and it really is impressive.
A previous review mentioned the shiney speaker cloth and I chose the ignore the advice but in actual fact the cloth does look cheap and doesn't look easily changeable.
Today's job is to wall hang the rear speakers and replace the cable as it was slightly too short to run it neatly around the room.
In conclusion, good value for money and makes movie night something to look forward too

Great Speakers when paired with a great amp
I bought these after them being demo'd with a Denon ARX3300 amp. I ended up buying the amp as well as they were so well matched.
In my lounge the amps does not need to be above 60% to drive these speakers really well. Great bass from the sub and the other speakers strike a good balance between highs and lows. Overall I researched a lot of speakers packs and this was by far the cheapest way to get a good atmos system.
The only negative I have for the system is that all the speakers except the sub have a shiny cloth covering at the front which makes them look a bit cheap. This cloth cant be removed.

Needed a new speaker package
I needed a new speaker packed to go with my amp. Did not realize how poor my previous speakers were until I upgraded them. I now have matching amp and speakers and I can say I am not disappointed. Great quality, great sound and perfect service from RicherSounds.

Great Atmos Kit in a Box
My first venture into the realm of home cinema. Inbought this with the Denon VX 2200 amp and I'm really happy with the setup.
I did an awful lot of research before buying this speaker kit. I considered buying the combined Onkyo Atmos amplifier and speaker kit in a box solution but instead opted for the speakers only along with a Denon separate amp
Easy to setup and really great volume and clarity for my room (6 × 5m). I also like the fact the speaker dimensions are reasonably compact, including the subwoofer.
The stuff in the Richer Sounds store were very helpful gave me a demo and arranged for delivery within 2 days. Super!

Substantial upgrade
A decade ago I bought an Onkyo 5.1 set up, recently I upgraded. I have this teamed with the Onkyo TXNR646 and the performance is stellar. I frequently use this set set up streaming Spotify too. A recent viewing of Watchmen illustrated amazing detail and great dynamics. Im not an audiophile, but I can tell a great set up. Im an Onkyo fan and this only confirmed my opinion

excellent sound
Purchased having read the reviews, for my son who has a Panasonic tv and xbox 1, I twinned the speakers up with the denon avrx 2200 amp.
Roger at the Leeds store was exceptionally helpfull giving a great service.
The system takes a while to set up as the instructions are on disc and quite in depth but not the clearest to understand.
Once set up the sound is incredible, not too much bass, no distorted screechy highs, a well balanced sound.
I intend to upgrade the cable and use stands for the two smaller speakers to see if there is any noticable difference.
The speakers have a clear crisp sound with both film and gaming. My son loves them and can't wait to play a film where the atmos speakers are used.
It isn't clear wether the atmos speakers can be used when gaming though which would be great.

Good depth of sound
I probably would not have picked this set but they came in a package - so one way of looking at them is they were free when you purchased the AV and TV. The are a step change from the Samsung sound bar. Used them when watching a SIFI movie and the sound was impressive - yet to get the full setup correct but I think that's just hope they work with the AV. The only slightly annoying thing is the sub woofer switches off and only comes back on when a reasonable noise is sent - may be config but you do not always get the depth with it off.
