The big screen made easy
Compact and lightweight, the HD27e is ideal for permanent or occasional use. Its modest proportions means that it doesn't dominate your room and can easily be transported or put away when not in use. With HDMI sockets and USB power, it's easy to plug in a Smart TV device and get instant entertainment.
USB power – plug in Smart TV
Thanks to the built-in USB power outlet you can also power your source device. Ideal for powering Smart TV dongles, such as the Google Chromecast, the HD27e makes adding Smart TV cheap and easy.
Stunning colour accuracy
Modelled on the High Definition TV standard, Rec.709, the HD27e delivers the truest possible colour reproduction. With such accurate colour you can enjoy lifelike images from sports, movies and documentaries.
With Optoma's Dynamic Black system, the HD27e offers an excellent contrast ratio of 25,000:1. By smoothly adjusting the lamp output for each frame, the HD27e is able to offer the darkest blacks alongside the brightest whites.
Outstanding brightness – made even better
Boasting an improved brightness figure up 200 lumens to 3400 ANSI Lumens, the HD27e gives even brighter and more vivid colours. Even during daylight conditions with curtains or blinds open, the HD27e produces a watchable and detailed picture - something that can't always be said of projectors.
Pin- sharp detail from TI's DLP chip set
Using Texas Instrument's DLP technology, the Optoma HD27e gives crystal-clear clarity, sharply defined images and true, natural colour. Even at larger screen sizes, the detail is astounding and would have once been the preserve of projectors costing many times more. In order to make the most of high definition video sources, the HD27e will also project 1080p Full HD images, making it the perfect match for your Blu-ray player or Full HD gaming device.
24P and gaming modes
To make the most of gaming, this projector features a special Gaming Mode. This optimises the projector's settings to give lightning fast response, maximum contrast and vivid colours, making gaming on the big screen even more involving. The HD27e is also 24P compatible, so will replay films shot at 24 frames per second at the correct speed, without glitching.
Impressive as the Optoma HD27e is in 2D, it's only when you take advantage of its 3D system that the picture becomes truly immersive. Just add the optional ZF2300 3D glasses system, connect up to a suitable source and enjoy 3D images that are every bit as bold as at the cinema.
HDMI with MHL
With twin HDMI sockets, the HD27e is well equipped to handle digital sources. One HDMI socket is also compatible with MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link), enabling connection with a suitable smartphone or tablet to watch HD video, from your mobile device, on the big screen.
Get big screen entertainment, hassle-free, with the Optoma HD27e.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jayboro1 from Great picture, decent sound I’ve only had this projector for a couple of weeks and used it 5-6 times for sport and films. It was tricky to set up as I have it on a shelf high up so you have to go through the menu (upside down) to change the settings to invert the picture. I haven’t changed any other settings as they are adequate. The sound is ok, it’s similar to a small screen tv type quality. I connected it up to a Yamaha sound bar and it’s much better. The picture quality is amazing. It is proper HD and the detail is really good, but the room does need to be dim. The darker the better. I have mine set at 3.2m from a 90” screen and it really is good. I don’t think there is any need to pay almost twice the price for a 4K projector, certainly not for me. I’ve since bought a wall/ceiling bracket from another online supplier for less than £20, don’t be duped in to spending £80 plus on a bracket. The only down side is that it doesn’t come with a lens cover. Pretty poor really. I definitely recommend it and wouldn’t spend any more on 4K.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JakDez from Great projector with decent sound I bought this projector for a large group of friends and so far everyone absolutely loves it. Combining it with a Fire TV Stick gives it great functionality and the picture is excellent in dark lighting condition and surprisingly good in ambient lighting too. The inbuilt speaker is certainly good enough but would benefit from a Bluetooth speaker. So far nobody has noticed the projectors noise level, however the heat it creates has been commented on a few times! Overall, very satisfied.
