Working seamlessly with Spotify Connect (Premium Account required), TIDAL and Deezer, the SA-PMX82 gets straight to the heart of your streaming music service. The Panasonic Music Control App gives your Android or Apple iOS device control over the music and sound.
Your choice of radio – Internet, DAB and FM
Whichever way you enjoy your radio, the Panasonic has you covered. Internet Radio and Podcasts are covered by the Airable service. For aerial-based listening, there’s a choice of DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and FM tuning.
Hi-res sound via USB
Connect up to your computer via USB-B (rear) or flash drive via USB-A (front) and stream High Resolution music files for the very best sound quality. High Resolution Audio support for file sizes up to 24bit/192kHz provides a much more detailed and smoother sound than CD (16bit/44.1kHz). The difference between Hi Res music and typical MP3/ACC compressed music files is even greater, with Hi Res music offering a deeper and wider sound stage, more precise imaging and a far greater sense of realism.
Wide range of file types supported
There's a huge selection of downloadable Hi Res music already available, plus you may already have a collection on your computer. For this reason, the Panasonic supports a wide range of Hi Res file formats, including DSD 5.6MHz, WAV, FLAC and AIFF (up to 24bit/192kHz).

If the vast range of streaming options weren’t enough, the SA-PMX802 also packs in a CD player. Compatible with CD-RW and MP3-encoded discs, the player is perfect for keeping your existing CD collection in play.

Excellent alternative to the Marantz
Bought this item as an alternative to the Marantz CR612 that is currently unavailable
I have had Panasonic equipment in the past and it has been excellent, and I am delighted with this streaming mini system. I had ordered the Dali Oberon 1 to go with the Marantz but they are too big for the room so they are now in the lounge. I bought the Dali Spektor1 as these are smaller and they are perfect with this system. I found setting up with my phone a bit tricky, and it failed several times on connecting but once it's done it's very simple to use with the remote. The sound quality with both ipod and phone is superb and it is great to be able to stream music through the various sources available, including a CD Player. The Panasonic SA-PMX802 is a quality small system that delivers great sound including DAB radio which was important in my search and I am not disappointed. It looks very neat on my side board without taking up too much space and provides the same quality sound as my old micro system but with more whistles and bells to enjoy endless amounts of good music

Looks and sounds great
I’ve only had for two weeks but I’m very impressed so far. It’s a great sound really nice bass and clear at low or high volume. Yes you can get better sounding systems but for the price this is excellent and I only have a small house so this is perfect. I’m old fashioned and still like cd’s so wanted something that would sound good but didn’t take up much space and also be able to stream music and this does it all very well. Overall I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Brilliant for streaming from Iphone
I bought this to replace an older Sony amplifier so I would be able to Stream from my Iphone & play MP3 disks. Already had good "Bose Acoustimass" speakers, so glad to be able to just purchase Amplifier on its own. Not dissapointed, really good quality sound & easy to set up.

Great performance in a compact package
I bought this to replace an old Pioneer unit of a similar size.
As well as the tuner and CD functions, I wanted a device that would allow me to play tracks via AirPlay and Bluetooth, and which could drive my 4 ohm speakers.
The Panasonic has met all these requirements excellently. The wireless connections were easy to set up, though you have to use the Google Home app to do this. It drives my speakers effortlessly and sound is top quality. Control via the remote is not entirely intuitive but quite straightforward.
I am very happy with my purchase!

Difficult to find all the functions
I bought this to replace an almost identical Denon amplifier/tuner/CD player which failed in a number of ways (remote stopped working, CD player refused to play discs). This Panasonic one does not have those problems but st-up instructions are difficult to follow and DAB radio reception has been hard to get because of seemingly poor antenna connection. Linking to other devices via wi-fi is still not working properly - probably not a fault but due to limited and unclear instructions.

Great sound and looks
Very happy with my purchase, great sound and a lovely compact sized unit, but the menu navigation through numerous button options is not the simplest or quickest, mainly because the option you are looking for is not always in the most obvious location, but I will hopefully get use to it.

Sound is fantastic
Excellent service over the phone from Howie at the Preston branch. First new Hi-Fi I have bought since 1989 and wanted to make the right decision and I haven't been disappointed. The clarity of Sound is second to none and it has all the features I wanted - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, CD, DAB, and USB.

Lovely little unit
Bought because of Airplay 2 and DAB+ and I could match with a pair of Definitive Technology D7 speakers. Easy to set up, sound through the Def Tech's is awesome. Love it. Wake up to DAB+ Radio 2 at 0730 every morning, play whole house music via Airplay 2.

Delighted with my purchase
I couldn't be happier with this clever little unit. Having previously considered similar but not quite equally matched models by Yamaha, Marantz and Denon I saw this on the Panasonic website with Richer Sounds named as the exclusive retailer in the UK. A slightly lower spec model which was sold with speakers had previously been available from other retailers but, as I already had a speaker set that I wanted to keep, and I wanted to benefit from Chromecast streaming, this was more attractive to me. Had to wait a few weeks for the unit to come into stock but Dave on telesales was true to his word and called me as soon as it was available. It was simple to set up and connect speakers and turntable, and streaming on the network and Spotify Connect both work exactly as they should. The unit has a lovely warm clear tone with my Bose speaker system but an inbuilt sound equaliser offers tweaks if they are wanted (I haven't needed to use it yet). Absolutely delighted with my purchase and the fantastic service from Richer Sounds - thank you!
