Narrower than most other soundbars, the Panasonic SCHTB258 fits where other soundbars don’t. If you’ve got a small TV or need something that fits between the TV’s feet, this is the ideal solution. It’s not just the soundbar that’s compact, either. The supplied wireless subwoofer is much slimmer than usual, making it easy to slide underneath or between furniture.

The soundbar uses stereo speakers and Virtual Surround to project the sound much further than most TV speakers can. With 120 watts power output, there’s also more power than the average TV, giving you a better chance of room-filling sound.

Nice compact soundbar
I bought this a couple of weeks ago to fit under my Panasonic tv. Fits perfectly as the tv is quite low so I was limited to what would fit. The sound is great and is helped by the Blutooth bass speaker. Everything connected easily and it switched on when I turn on the sky Q and tv. Very happy with my purchase.

Surprisingly good
Good all round system which produces good sound. Easy to install and works well using an HDMI lead connected to my Panasonic TVs Viera link. The compact size of the components means they all fit on the TV stand and look good.

Problems......
First purchase. Easy to setup first time....then when put into standby or powered down it would refuse to power back on. Unplug and replug and on again. Turn off. No play. Returned and replaced. Second one works perfectly.........but. Either the TV or the soundbar doesn't recognise the connection between the two. Tried an optical cable... No working connection. Ultimately it does work! Just not 100%.

Reasonably good for the money
Compact, so works well for small locations. IR receiver is on top so remote has to be elevated (e.g. raised arm on sofa) to pass signal. Rate of volume up/down is a little slow. Sound is OK for the money, the sub-bass unit can easily get a little boomy if not properly located. Not fully compatible with LG tv remote but using the Panasonic remote is easy, especially the mute button. Overall good value for money... you get what you pay for.

Difficult to set up...
Was difficult set up for someone completely non-technical but our son, who also had one of these and also found it not easy, eventually got it working. Sound is very good.
